The Harbor View Inn in Santa Barbara is a great hotel and I have stayed there once or two times and both were nice. The location was nice and very close to the beach and downtown. My room was well kept and the service was very nice as well. The only downfall was that I spent a lot more then I expected to. The last time I was in Santa Barbara I stayed at the South Coast Inn (www.santa-barbara-hotel.com). SO elegant and the best place to escape all the city noise and get that much needed relaxing on your vacation!

I’ve stayed at the Harbor View a few times while vacationing in Santa Barbara and it was a so/so experience. Honestly could have been better pertaining to the room and service as well. Rooms were pretty small and the service was dismissive if we ever asked for anything. We also didn’t anticipate spending more then we did, which was a shame. The next time I am in Santa Barbara I am staying at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So affordable and the location is the absolute best!

I’ve heard a many of things about the Harbor View Inn and much was mentioned. How nice it is, the location, the service, the accommodating nature of the staff, so I guess this is the place to be when visiting. I did hear that it is quite expensive and sometimes the room doesn’t feel worth the cost per night. That tends to happen not just here but all over Santa Barbara! Once you’ve been around the block and back when traveling there you’ll learn ways to save money and still have a five star type of vacation! The South Coast Inn (www.goleta-hotel.com) is right off the beaten path, well priced and well groomed to fit anyone’s needs!
