Most Spectacular National Parks in China

China is without doubt the fastest growing economy in the world, but few know that China is also a beautiful place having unmatched beauty and diversity when it comes to wildlife. The countless efforts from the Chinese government have made it possible to preserve the rich flora and fauna that is present in the vast unexplored regions of China. Here are some spectacular National parks in China.

Jiuzhai Valley-Huanglong National Park is arguably the most beautiful place in China. Located in the Sichuan province, this national park is home to some species that are not found anywhere else in the world. UNESCO recognized this national park as the World Heritage Site due to the presence of these critically endangered species. The National park also has a beautiful lake that is popular among the people visiting here. Photo By:  Martha de Jong-Lantink

Wulingyuan (Zhangjiajie) National Park is perhaps the best place to explore the wilderness without worrying about the extreme climate that makes visiting some other national parks either limited or sometimes even inaccessible. Wulingyuan National Park is well known for its sandstone pillars, caves and a number of waterfalls. With more than 97 percent of the area under forest cover, Wulingyuan National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Photo By:  lacitadelle

Huangshan Mountains National Park is known for its amazing landscape and is considered as one of the top Natural Wonders of Asia. It is home to the 1,500 years old Welcoming guest Pine and see off Guest Pine. The best thing about this National Park is that it is yet to be commercialized in a big way, hence provides an untouched, pristine environment.

Mount Lushan National Park is again a UNESCO National Heritage Site and is well known for its steep cylindrical Mountains that rise from the ground piercing the dense clouds. Popular attractions here include the five old man gardens, the immortal caves and the botanical garden.

  1. Wow, amazing! I especially like the first one, Jiuzhai Valley-Huanglong National Park. It looks like a better version of pamukkale in Turkey.
