Description
Cascading downside from hillside to beach on St. Lucia's southwest coast, the 600-acre, 49-room Anse Chastanet Resort is a romantic, relaxing resort with excellent service and facilities.
The property's public and private areas feature original artwork by local and international artists.
The property features two dining venues. The hillside Pitons Restaurant has a view of the peaks, as the name suggests, and serves breakfast and a five-course dinner with a daily changing menu. Trou au Diable on the beach offers lunch and twice weekly dinner buffets. The hotel's fresh produce and herbs are cultivated at their nearby plantation.
The on-site spa, Kai Belte, which means House of Beauty, offers a range of treatments at the spa or in the privacy of guests' rooms.
37 of the fotel's 49 accommodations are scattered about a hillside while the remaining 12 sit within a tropical garden at beach level. Amenities include fridges, electric tea/coffee makers, safes, and wall mounted hairdryers. The furniture in all rooms has been individually designed and handmade in the region with the exclusive use of the island woods like teak, mahogany, green heart, purple heart, red cedar and wild breadfruit. Rooms are decorated with madras prints, traditional bright plaid island fabrics.
Scuba St. Lucia, an SSI Platinum Pro, PADI Dive Center is headquartered on the premises.
*NOTE: Tax and service charge included
**NOTE: There are approximately 100 stairs leading from beach level to the mid-hillside level, thus making the property unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or cardiac problems.
