Part of Virgin Islands National Park, Caneel Bay Resort is located on a peninsula fringed by seven beaches, three miles from Trunk Bay's underwater snorkeling trail, and approximately 45 minutes from Saint Thomas International Airport. Guests can use Caneel Bay Resort's reception lounge to check in, have a welcome drink, and wait for the resort's boat to take them on the 45-minute run from Saint Thomas to Saint John. A fee is charged for the trip. The resort is 1.5 miles from the Virgin Islands National Park Visitors Center and Cruz Bay town, five miles from Annaberg Sugar Mill, and nine miles from Coral Bay.
