Banana Beach Resort is a beachfront hotel, about a 15-minute ride from San Pedro Airstrip and approximately 31 miles from Belize City in the island of Ambergris Caye. <b>Guests fly internationally into Belize City and then must schedule a 15-minute flight to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, prior to departing for your trip. Another option is to take a water taxi to San Pedro information is available at the airport.</b>
The Balcony/Veranda rooms have one king bed or two twin, A/C, ceiling fans, cable TV, telephone, and in room safe.
The Courtyard Suites have one bedroom, one bathroom, a full kitchen, and living room area and have direct access to the garden courtyard swimming pool area. The kitchens are supplied with cooking utensils, plates, glasses, appliances including a microwave oven, stove, and refrigerator. All suites are equipped with A/C, two ceiling fans, cable TV, Internet access, in-room telephone, and in room safe.
The courtyard is decorated with clay pottery from the Yucatan. Local tropical plants have found a new home in this pottery. The courtyard is fast becoming a tropical terrarium with two swimming pools.
There is a golf cart rental available from the hotel. All snorkeling, diving, fishing, and trips to the mainland Mayan Ruins, jungle rivers, & Wildlife sanctuaries can be arranged from the hotel with tried and tested tour operators.
