The Villa di Piazzano is an elegant hunting manor of the 1500s. The Villa di Piazzano is located just four miles from Cortona in a beautiful country area which is protected by the environmental authorities.
The Villa is surrounded by a splendid garden with an Italian formal garden, large swimming pool, shaded terrace for dining and bar service, and a fine Tuscan gourmet restaurant. It is not only a great base for exploring both Tuscany and Umbria, but for those wishing to relax, there are plenty of activities at the Villa itself such as: swimming, walking down the many country trails and mountain bike riding (bikes can be rented at the Villa itself).
Though the building is very old it was completely renovated in 2001 and the rooms, each different from one another, are very spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the modern comforts.
Additional information: Children 1 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 2-12 receive a 50 percent reduction.
