Radda in Chianti is a small, antique village in the heart of the Chianti hills, located in the centre of Tuscany at an elevation of 535m above sea level. Already inhabited in the Etruscan era, the small village still has the structure and some buildings from the Middle Ages including towers, stretches of wall, the San Niccolo Church and the Podesta Palace. The Radda in Chianti area is highly regarded by demanding tourism thanks to the great food and wine traditions in Tuscany and the historical and naturalistic treasures that are scattered throughout it. The Hotel Radda has 58 rooms including 4 Junior Suites, and The Restaurant, Il Cavaliere Errante, serves typically Tuscan dishes and specialties accompanied by fine wines. The spacious rooms, terraces, poolside areas and courtyard within the hotel area offer the possibility of organising memorable banquets and receptions, all to celebrate in the name of Chianti. From our Coffee Bar La Taverna, guests can be served an aperitif or coffee at any time of the day. In the spacious common areas, on the terraces with charming panoramas and on the inside courtyard, comfortable sofas and wrought iron armchairs with cushions are available to give yourself a break to read a good book while sipping a glass of fine Chianti wine. The Health and Beauty Centre, Salute Per Acqua offers beauty treatments in very refined and spacious environments. Guests staying at the hotel have free access to the salt-water swimming pools heated to 34 degrees, both the covered one, equipped with Geeiser hydro massage, as well the open air one, during the mild seasons. With a reservation, guests can access the sauna and the Turkish bath and make use of the cosmetic and beauty treatments available in our Centre. Physical reinvigoration is also guaranteed by long, oxygenating walks along the paths in the oak-tree and turkey-oak woods that climb from the hotel towards the Poggio alla Croce hill. The Convention Centre has 3 flexible halls with a capacity of up to 140 people, equipped with all modern equipment and instrumentation for the success of the meetings and conventions that are organised at Hotel Radda. The larger halls and open spaces host fashion shows and exhibitions of collections.
