Created in the 1870s by Cesar Ritz, Grand Hotel National is located on the lakeside promenade, within walking distance of the downtown area, and approximately 40 miles from Zurich International Airport. This location is also within walking distance of the old city and the famous Chapel Bridge, the medieval wooden bridge that crosses the Rheuss, the river of Lucerne.
