Great location close to Termini station for buses, taxis and trains. Hotel was good value, with clean rooms, friendly atmosphere, coffee available anytime. Wouldn't recommend for those looking for lots of tourist help and advice from the hotel though, its a basic reception service.

My wife and I both thought that the Imperial Inn gave excellent value for money. It was clean & tidy. We were delayed in our arrival at the Imperial and they could not have been more understanding and helpful. The room was beautiful with a view up a quiet street towards the Opera House. Breakfast is a little different as you are seated in a small area next to reception, there is a fridge where you can help yourself to milk, juice etc. Free coffee vending machine for drinks. The self service continental style breakfast was simple but adequate. The location of the Imperial is quite at night, but within easy reach of all the shops etc. It is close to the Termini Station, which makes it very handy. The Imperial is to be found on the fourth floor of a mixed use building. There is a quaint small lift to the fourth floor that is straight out of a time warp. We wanted to extend our stay but sadly the Imperial was full, we had to stay elsewhere that was almost 50% more and not half as good. We would both stay again.

This is a great little place. True its not marked out with a big sign but if you find the street (straight down the road from the main road in front of the main station) just look at the door numbers. There is a buzzer to press and its a huge wooden arch door.Once inside it was impressed with the building, we were on the 2nd floor but reception is on the 4th.Room - top class for 1-3 nights with a great bathroomBreakfast was pre packaged and ok but it will do for the short stay.Staff - Very friendly and helpfullLocation - fantastic for people on foot as its 5 minutes from the trqain station and 5 more from great parts of RomeI booked via late rooms so got a good price (£70) for the night and that was worth it. If it costs over £140 then you could probably get better but I loved it!Enjoy staying there

This is a little gem of a hotel but really more of a bed and breakfast. A short walk from the Termini station and within walking distance of the main sites although we did use the metro for Vatican City. Our room was delightful and away from the road although traffic was not an issue on that street. Breakfast was simple and help yourself but adequate and water, soft drinks and some snacks are available free 24/7. We were welcomed on arrival by a very helpful young woman who advised us on where to find the restaurants that were cheaper and also to an excellent fish restaurant. We will return

The hotel is on the 4th floor of an apartment block diagonally opposite from the opera house. It is small ,with only 5 rooms but the double room was clean, large and roomy with a good shower. The breakfast was a self service continental style ( toast, jam ,pastries, yoghurt ,fruit) and a great coffee machine and available all day. The hotel is in a good location for getting to all the sights of the city (metro, termini station, buses) and within walking distance of the Spanish Steps , Trevi fountain. Good authentic italian restaurants can be found in the area behind Termini station. Would recommend the ristorante Regina in via del Mille. Have to say I was not very taken with the hotels recommendation of restaurant round the corner.Overall a great place to stay and value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and hope to return there soon myself!

Hotel was a little difficult to find at first, but once found it was only a five min walk from main terminal (trains) and 10-15 from spanish steps etc. Great views of the opera house seen. Room was spotless and very clean including the bathroom. A lobby area which serviced three rooms offered a selection of contential breakfast products, which were good. Staff were pleasent and looked after our luggage as check out time 10.30 and we were not leaving until 8pm. Would go back.

We have recently returned from a short break (3 nights) in Rome. This small hotel (B&B) is located a short walk from the central rail terminus and is ideally located for ease of access to all of the surrounding sights. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean and well furnished, with satellite TV (if you're not too tired from all the sight-seeing), electronic safe, well appointed bathroom with Jacuzzi Shower and a well stocked fridge included in the price (fruit juice etc not beer or wine unfortunately - although is an off-license next door!!). For coffee lovers the coffee machine vends truly superb espresso, latte, cappuccino etc - Again all included in the price. For getting around, I can recommend the 110 Open-topped bus (cold in January though) which does an excellent tour of all of the main attractions for around 14 Euros and is ideal as a starting point. From then on most attractions are accessible relatively easily on foot or the metro is superb (4 Euros for unlimited travel over a 24 hour period and free for under 10s).Bearing in mind these are 4th floor apartments and therefore only accessible via stairs or a rather quaint lift - think of the old 70s US movies and you'll have a pretty good idea. Finding the hotel is quite straight-forward once you have discovered Via Viminale - it's towards the bottom of the street and has 2 very large wooden doors - you will have to look for them though as there is no big sign advertising it's presence. If you go I hope your stay is as good as ours.
