Restaurant staff very good with lone dinersHotel just 2 mins walk from Picadilly station and easy reach of my city centre meeting the next day. Beautiful refurb, bed extremely comfortable and nice bathrooms. Secondary glazing on stylish old windows did let noise of police car sirens through unfortunately .. if you are a light sleeper a front facing room could cause problems. Restaurant staff seated me in a private booth where I could see everything going on but was nice and private - perfect when eating on my own

Manchester AbodeRoom was good - better than last time as at least we were overlooking a street ratherthan a brick wall - excellent bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent butexpensive.

No complaints - enjoyed a very pleasant break.Nice room, soft comfy beds. Liked the biscuits left with tea. Mini bar products reasonably priced which makes a nice change. We enjoyed our stay and the central location of the hotel.

Not as good as he hoped...Although the room was a good size, it was rather basic. I guess it's just a matter of taste, but open wardrobes, felt more Travelodge than Boutique Hotel, nowhere to plug the kettle in and light switches which couldn't be reached from the bed just left me feeling there was not great attention to detail.

Recommended hotel and restaurantThis is a nice boutique-style hotel that is located very close to Piccadilly train station and the Northern Quarter. It is ideal for a city break. We were attending a wedding, so did not get the chance to eat at the restaurant, but, having eaten at Michael Caines @ Abode before, it is highly recommended (and the set lunch menu is great value for money).

Great centrally located hotel.Excellent hotel with good facilities. The only problem was that the lift was broken and I was on the 4th floor! The staff offered to help with baggage etc so it wasn't really a problem.

Dancing on ice trip.Fantastic, food great, and all staff extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definately use again, and recommend to anyone.
