The hotel was in an excellent location. Although it said on our booking confimration that rooms would be available at 12 this was not the case, but we left our luggage until the room was ready, which wasnt a problem. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. Even though it is just off the main road we had a room on the back which was double glazed and you couldnt hear a thing! The room was very clean and modern. It was excellent value for the money we paid. It was only a small hotel but was just perfect for what we wanted which was a room to sleep in! I only wish we had had more time to stay there and make the most of the rooms but we were off sight seeing. I would recommend the break to anyone it is a wonderful city with lots to do and see. I would definitely stay here again. The main hotel door was also locked all the time which was great for security as this was manned 24 hrs. The only thing that let the holiday down was being nervous of pick pocketing.

On positive side, hotel was in v good location for public transport, and for walking to Ramblas & other sights. The street was quiet & felt safe. Cleanliness, decor, furniture were of high standard. Beds were extremely comfortable. Good range of toiletries provided and useful to have the mini bar.On slight negative note, reception facilities were v basic & we weren't offered any advice or information on eg. local restaurants. We did not have the breakfasts as felt them v overpriced at 14E per person per day - £10 for a cold buffet breakfast??

super position close to la rambla an start of bus tours. Would not use hotel recomended bus other option better. Hotel clean bedrooms good. Overall very good position.
