Albergo del Senato is your window on the Pantheon. Indeed, lodging at Albergo del Senato means that you have in front of your room the over 2000 years old roman temple of the Pantheon. The hotel was built at the end of the XIX century by G. Kock, the famous Italian architect. Due to its unique position the Hotel became immediately very fashionable ? J.P. Sartre and S. De Beauvoir being, among others, guests of our Hotel. The Pantheon is both the core of the ancient Rome and the heart off all the most government and institutional sites of the city. Therefore, the quarter is very characteristic and lively, being at the same time very safe and silent at night time.

This is a gem of a hotel, in a perfect location overlooking the Pantheon and within walking distance of all of the attractions. Hotel was beautifully decorated, very clean with friendly, helpful staff. Small but perfectly formed breakfast room with fresh food. Welocme basket of fruit in room was most gratefully received. As with all European hotels it would benefit from tea/coffee making facility in rooms, otherwise I could not fault this lovely hotel and would not hesitate to recomend it to anyone. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in Rome as a result.

The position, opposite the Pantheon is fantastic. The roof garden is a massive bonus for early evening drinks. We went as a family with two teenage children and all had a warm welcome.

I would come back to this hotel for a stay in Rome. It is very centrally located, its front rooms overlooking the Pantheon in Piazza della Rotonda. As it is a pedestrianised piazza there was little noise at night. It's a small 3* hotel, with just a small lounge and breakfast room, but it's well decorated and furnished in a stylish manner. Don't be late for breakfast as it will have vanished! I felt comfortable there. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Enjoy your stay!

Perfect honeymoon break in a wonderful cityThis lovely hotel provided great quality & value in this relatively expensive city. A truely wonderful location within relatively easy walking distance of all the splendid sites. It proved a perfect base for exploring and romancing.The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and they provided genuine advice as to good local restaurants and cafes.Our well appointed, though slightly small, room (#604) benefitted from a small balcony directly overlooking the Piazza della Rotonda and The Pantheon. Atmospheric with great views. The queen sized bed was supremely comfortable. The buffet style continental breakfast was always excellent and would set the two of us up nicely for another days sightseeing.Difficult to find any faults (ok, maybe the lifts needed a little turbo charging!).Happy to recommend.
