Since the opening of the Altstadt Vienna in 1991 the house has been enlarged with appartements and is today a meeting point for artists, musicians and individual travellers looking for a characteristic hotel with excellent service. Your check-in - a warm and friendly welcome, your room - a unique style retreat and the lobby - a cozy red salon with open fireplace. Art surrounds you, from reception to rooms to exhibitions in the Red salon. Each of the 42 exquisitely decorated rooms and suites has a touch of the past. All our rooms have been designed to meet individual needs, none of them is alike. Easy chairs, plump floral sofas, classic and design furniture, high ceilings, honey-coloured parquet floors, unusual light objects and contemporary art transform each and every room to your personal livingroom. The English-style Red Salon accomodates the superb breakfast buffet as well as a bar, where you can relax next to the open fireplace. In the afternoon we serve complimentary tea and cake for our guests. It's our pleasure to arrange tickets for opera, theater and concert.
