This hotel is located just a few minutes walk south of Syntagma Square and the parliament opposite the National Gardens and a few minutes from the Temple of Zeus. The historical old town area of Plaka (including Ermou shopping street) is a very short walk away making this an ideal base for both sightseeing and shopping. The metro is nearby giving access to the airport, port and surrounding Athens. A great renovation making this a contemporary 4 star property with all modern facilities and a great roof garden. A new facade was put on the hotel during the renovation giving it a modern look. As the hotel has recently reopened after a full renovation rooms are decorated to a high standard in a contemporary style. They are a good size and offer all the amenities expected of a hotel of this class. Facilities include: air conditioning, flat screen televisions with satellite channels, telephone, safe, internet access, and mini bar. The marble bathrooms have bathrobes, hair dryers and amenities. The lobby is medium in size and pleasantly furnished with modern decor and furniture. There is an internet corner for guests as well as wi-fi access for those with their own laptops. The area adjoins the coffee shop. There is a lobby lounge overlooking the National Gardens serving drinks and light snacks throughout the day. The main restaurant is on the mezzanine level offering a selection of Greek and International dishes. During the summer, the roof top garden is open serving snacks and drinks and boasting fantastic views of the Acropolis. 10 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (monastiraki subway), 35 kms to the nearest airport (eleftherios venizelos), Close to the station (syndagma).
