This hotel is generally OK. It is in a good location and is in a reasonable condition. The major drawback is the beds which are exceedingly uncomfortable.

hotel rooms were shabby and rundown looking, water leaked through ceilings during our first night.fri. 24.and we had to move to another room.we told reception staff we would prefer another hotel and asked for help in finding accomodation through internet, but they refused.the second room, though larger than the first room, was again in shabby condition.my wife and i have stayed in london on numerous occasions in the past and have always found the accomodation to be of a good standard and value for money.this hotel, however, was definitely the exception to the rule. yours sincerely Denis.a.kELLEHER

Bit dissapointing Realise this is only a budget hotel but room was pretty dreary with three single beds in it (I was sole occupant) and no chair to sit in to do work at the desk. It is a funny hotel giving the air of a bigger and more upmarket establishment but having poor sparse room quality - for around the same price I can get a very comfortable and friendly B&B in same sort of area.

Other than mildew, broken tiles, a flooding shower, no hot water, an out-of-order elevator, no alarm clock in the room, worn carpets, and a hard-as-rock mattress,... well, draw your own conclusions. Hey, it was cheap. You get what you pay for.

By far the best hotel we stayed in for the price. Especially nice to see friendly staff and quality service. We would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews on this hotel prior to booking; had I done that I wouldn't have booked if the rooms were offered at 1/4 of the price. While the staff was very helpful and friendly and breakfast was decent, there isn't one single redeeming feature about the rooms that I can think of. Even the locks are a hazard; twice I nearly broke a finger unlocking the door (the knobs are too close to the door jam).

It is impossible to take a shower here without getting water all over the bathroom floor, and then slipping in that water when climbing down (yes, really) out of the shower. The room was small and looked like it might have been trendy in the 1970s. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding was in poor condition. If you can afford to stay somewhere else, do so. You won't regret it.

This hotel was completely horrible! I walked into my room and rhe toilet didn't work, there was mold all in my shower and bars on my window! When I asked to move to a new room they tried to make me pay and when I asked to speak to a manager they would not honor my request! When I moved to me second room I had someone walk in while I was sleeping and steal my camcorder! I felt like I comepletely wasted my money with this hotel! The staff was horrible except for one person. The only thing good about this hotel was the location.

The pictures in the internet and the reality a far away from each other. Staff was friendly, room showed a lot of wear and tear.

The hotel (that was not full) put me in a single room that had a bunk bed i.e. I had to use a ladder to go to bed - I am 43 years old and not 6 years! This was very uncomfortable. There was a rubbish TV, it was hot, dusty and worst of all, the cold water tap did not work at all. The staff did not seem to care when I told them politely about this. This hotel has a great location which attracts business but they are not treating their customers with the respect they deserve - I felt as though it was though the hotel doing me the favour of allowing me to stay there! This could be a great hotel if there was more love, personal care, attention and some refurbishment - and cold taps that worked.
