There is a self-service laundry very near by as well as various wine bars, discos and cinemas. The area is also neighbored by Milan's main shopping districts, Corso Porta Romana, Corso Italia, zona Porta Ticinese e San Lorenzo and Via Montenapoleone. The Hotel Arco Romana is excellently located for moving around the city: very close to the Cathedral and well linked to all the main places of artistic and cultural interest in the city.

I ordered a room with private toilet and bathroom for four nights. This hotel is at the top of the building, and you need to ascend some steps to get the lift. The view is not bad. However, air-conditioner is chargeable, with 5 euros per night. The wind just blows to the head position of the bed (since the room is rather small, like any European hotel), I cut off the air-conditions in next several nights. a bit hot, and with mosquito...Wifi is again chargeable, and they sell a kind of wifi card, i remember should be 10 euros for three hours. they also charged me 3% of credit card service charges... terrible...another point... their phone is difficult to dial in, for unknown reasons. And a man at the reception in daytime does not speak English... The receptionist at night speaks very good English and is very friendly and helpful. The final caution: in the bathroom or in front of your desk, mind your head... knocking on the oblique wall is very painful...
