The first time we stayed in a 1-bedroom Executive apartment on the 3rd floor. It had an enormous patio. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. There are only two rooms on each floor, and they do not share a common wall so there is no noise from any adjacent rooms. The second time we stayed in an 8th floor apartment with a better view and a standard size balcony. Very nice! I liked the fact that I could watch the morning news in the living room area and have my breakfast in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillows and extra blankets if you need them. In a hotel, you would have to do all that in the bedroom. There is a programmable safe in the walk-in closet,. which is an important feature for me. There is always a guard in the lobby, the front door is kept locked day and night. This is a great place to stay if you want an apartment-style hotel. It was nice to stay on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood with great shops, bars, restaurants and other eating options within walking distance. You truly feel like you are staying in an apartment with the key amenities you like in a hotel: daily maid service and breakfast delivered to the room each morning. The staff is friendly, efficient and english-speaking, which was helpful for us. We stayed at the Art Suites during the beginning and end of our week-long stay. They were nice enough to let us keep one of our large suitcases at the hotel for two days while we went on a short 2-day side trip. When you stay at the Art Suites, you feel like you have discovered a hidden gem. There is not even a sign on the building. It's like staying at a friend's apartment with benefits of a hotel: safety, hospitality and a comfortable stay.
