Following a complete renovation instead and out, this property is one of the best situated 4 star hotels in the area of Syntagma square. It boasts a fabulous location opposite the ancient gate of the Temple of Zeus and is within easy walking distance of the famous Old Town Plaka and Ermou street shopping area. Also near by is Acropoli metro station giving easy access to the airport, port and the rest of the city. The renovation and refurbishment of this hotel have given it a complete transformation befitting its stunning location. Service is friendly and the main sightseeing attractions are all within walking distance. This is a modern high rise building built in the 1960's, but fully renovated in 2007 so it now has a modern facade with balconies on 2 sides and a large work of art spiralling down one of the other 2 sides. Breakfast is taken overlooking a choice of the Acropolis or the Temple of Zeus depending on which side of the roof top panoramic viewed restaurant one sits in. These are the views the city of Athens is famed for. The restaurant also has a bar where cocktails can be enjoyed whilst watching the sun set. The lobby lounge on the ground floor also offer a comfortable area to enjoy a drink. The lobby is elegant yet comfortable with comfortable armchairs and sofas, with a bra just off to the right hand side. The medium sized rooms all boast amazing views of either the Acropolis or the Temple of Zeus. Each room is decorated in a contemporary style mixing chocolate browns and pale cream colours.
