Everything (gas, electricity, cleaning, linen, towels, air conditioning etc.) is included in the price. There are no other additional costs. This is a very good alternative to staying in a standard hotel, something we've done a few times in Rome. It's pleasant to have a little bit more space and not feel the price one is paying is outrageous. There could be a downside for the unwary; Via Aurora is a good climb up from the level of The Spanish Steps area. Also, the apartment is a little tired. It would benefit from some work to the shower. Some paintwork requires freshening up. In general though, I would stay at the apartment again but I can't give full marks this time.

Number 1 for location. The owner was first class and always felt he was there if needed. 5 star and had everything needed for a site seening break

Cups in kitchen could have been of a better standard. An electric toaster would have been a good addition, as would a dish cloth and tea towel in the kitchen area. Shower cubicle could do with some attention (ie re-grouting), and a non slip mat as it was very slippy.Lack of toilet after 2 days ( not enough provided for 5 people) These are all minor complaints which would if corrected make the accommodation really excellent.

The location is fantastic. The apartment is clean and basic. There is no lounge area, but if you plan to be out and about for the duration of your stay then you won't need it. Beware of the Elephant American bar on the corner of the block - they are prone to overcharging!

Rome apartment in excellent locationThis apartment is in an excellent location, a short walk to the Spanish Steps & other attractions. We stayed in February & the apartment was very warm with good central heating. In fact it was too good & we were unable to turn it down! We turned the heating off every evening & night to make it bearable. The kitchen was poorly equipped. All we wanted was to have breakfast & a hot drink each day. There were NO teaspoons in the apartment & only two decent sized mugs. However these were minor inconveniences. I would recommend this apartment for its price, cleanliness & overall the location.
