The location was a bit of a hinderence if dependant on the local taxis. The system was a bit of a shambles on the Saturday night.

bath visitvery good room size and large bed. second time we have stayed visiting our son at uni and enjoyed it each time. would recommend to anyone as long as not needing to stay in town.

Hotel easy to find and convenient for Bath. Staff were excellent both on the desk and in dining room. nothing seemed too much trouble. We observed the dining staff give every assistance to a young couple with a todler, offering to play with him while the parents ate or to give them their meal in their rooms. The food was slightly disappointing because the fish was not fresh but vegetables were just right and all well presented. our room was quiet and clean, good view and not overlooked. I did not get the zip linked i had ordered but staff gave a price ajustment. Would like grounds cleared so that more could be walked.

This is a really good hotel. Staff were very helpful, room was excellent and very clean. The breakfast was very good, quality of food was also very good . Although we did not use the gym etc it looked good.We would certainly reccomend this hotel and shall be going back.

Staff very friendly and helpful, nice room, good breakfast. Hotel in lovely surroundings. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We were made to feel welcome on arrival. We found the staff to be very helpful and polite. We did not have a sit down meal in the restaurant and therefore not able to comment on the food, however we did have breakfast which was excellent along with the service. There was no many choices which caters for all. We find the hotel to be of high standards with regards to cleaning. Our room was pleasant and spacious and clean. The hotel was in easy to find and a short distance to the centre of Bath. We had a very pleasant stay and will use the hotel again and will recommend it to others. Thank you

A superb hotel, with great facilities and an excellent restaurant. A good alternative to staying in Bath itself as it has a bus stop at the end of the road which takes you into the centre of Bath in under 10 minutes. Well equiped gym, nice rooms, friendly staff, and a superb and very flexible chef. I would recommend this hotel to anyone happy to stay just outside of Bath town centre.

Did not spend much time in the hotel, just bed and breakfast. the room was fairly clean but some stains on the carpet. The bed was comfortable and we slepft well. the first morning breakfast was ok but the second was a bit dry.

Exceeded our expectations in every respect. Sat Nav slightly confused by the postcode. Beware the hotel next door which has signs saying \"This isn't the Bailbrook House Hotel\".

we stayed at this hotel 2 years ago. It is situated just outside Bath so no city traffic to deal with. The hotel is, as was then, clean and comfortable. However, we noted this time that the decor, particularly the carpets on the stairs and in the rooms have become shabby. The breakfast facilities are excellent. We did not have other meals in the hotel [hotel prices] but can recommend good pub food at the Wagon and horses pub [turn right at the end of the drive] Recommend visitors to Bath city for the sites and shopping - leave your car at the hotel and take a bus into Bath. Buses run from the end of the drive every 10 -15 mins.

Don't book this hotel if you are looking for a typical bath house, the pretty bath-stone pictures only represent the entrace hall, the rest of the hotel is a modern conference venue. If that's what you are after then I can't fault the place.
