I stayed at Barefoot Resort for a week. I absolutely loved the resort! The view from my room (the golf course and pond) and the resort in general was very peaceful and relaxing. They upgraded us to a three bedroom, two bath condo. The condo had every kitchen appliance imaginable, which gave us plenty of options for cooking. Although the pool leaves something to be desired for adults, it is perfect for children. The beach was less than ten minutes away and it was nice having the House of Blues in close

Don't get suckered in by the looks as the rooms look very nice and some have great views of the golf course but if comfort is a big deal then this isn't the place for you. No elevators, so if your on the top floor be prepared to carry everything up so if your older you may want to make sure you request a bottom floor room. The beds are hard as a rock, even my buddies that stayed in the rooms with the king and queen sized beds said that those were very hard. I would never bring my family here as i didn't see anything for kids to do with the exception of the small pools and i hope i never get put here on a golf trip again, i may have to pay for another room somewhere else.

This was by far the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in! We were expecting a nice condo, but this was almost as big as our own home! The decor was gorgeous, the kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable and the grounds were wonderful. My only wish was that the rest of our family had been with us to share in this great place. We plan on definitely staying here every time we come to Myrtle Beach in the future!

The only problem we encountered was not knowing where the shuttle stop was to go to the beach. There were so many condos and we were not given a map, so we didn't know where to go. However, we decided we would rather have our own car than to be at the hands of a shuttle schedule anyway. It was a good choice, because it rained that day! Had we been on the shuttle, we would have been stuck at the beach in the storm for a couple of hours!

This is the perfect place to stay for families who are more pool people than beach people.. We stayed in the North Tower and our unit was WOW. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths decorated so nice I want to decorate my home like it. The pool is HUGE. They have built these ""islands"" in the middle so there are plenty of steps for people and kids to sit/play on. The islands are about 6"" deep so little ones
