The Best Western Hotel Major was in a good location in the south east of town and literally just beside a tube station. The communal areas of the hotel were very modern although the front and our room could do with a bit of a face lift. The walls were also very thin... The staff however were incredibly helpful and we were able to leave our car in a locked garage for 20 Euro a day. Ideal location for Linate airport. Breakfast was average.

Nice hotel, very near metro station - and four stations from the center of Milano. Wireless access to internet for free - very good. Not the most interesting part of the city, but that doesn´t matter with the metro so near.

Short stayJust about as expected no problems. Refurbished Hotel good average for European 4 star no bath but good room and public areas. Breakfast basic but OK (though coffee could be better) in nice clean minimalist breakfast room . WiFi worked well with no charge. Staff performed well but I had little contact as all worked smoothly. A little out of the centre but easy to find next to Metro station and therefore good connections with City. 5.5Euro 48 hr Metro ticket worked well for getting around. Local area OK, quiet but did appear to have a few restaurants a walk away.
