Really, nothing! Ok, I guess the ocean was beautiful. Staff, construction, filthy enclosed pool/hot tub, plastic sofa, etc. Terrible, don't recommend! First off "desk person" sent us on a one hour wild goose hunt for the hotel. We started in N Myrtle Beach, where we were supposed to be & she sent us all the way to S.M.B. Then just to have to turn around and return to beyond our starting point. To find and get to the check-in desk was a real treat. No parking & major construction. In the "parking garage", about 6 cars worth, my girlfriend tripped over a bag of potting soil left at the rear of parking spot. Both room keys did not work, had to change rooms, "lock problem". When we finally got into a room, it did not even have a tub for her to soak her back from the fall. The enclosed pool area was filthy, broken glass, no windows, etc. No working ice machines in the south tower, 5th & 7th floors, and the one on the 7th was very moldy. Plastic sofa. Elevator never showed, took staircase. While trying for ice, workmen left tool bag & ladder in poorly lit landing between 6&7, no bulb in florescent fixture. What a possible accident! Nice view of the ocean and a reasonably comfortable bed. This hotel was a real disappointment.

I was coming back from Florida and called and got a pretty good rate for Easter ocean front. The view was better than I had in Ft lauderdale and the Beach was really clean too. It was the perfect break on a long drive home.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Ocean Sands in Myrtle Beach. The staff were outstanding. It was a typical beach hotel room which was perfect for a family with small children. We definitely will come back here.

The elevator stopped working on the second day we were there. The room was dirty especially the bathroom. The only thing good was the pool and view of the ocean from our balcony. I put towels down on the floors because I was afraid to walk barefoot on the rug and tile.

Location of hotel was great ;right on the beach;, price was reasonable, room was nothing special but was very clean, continental breakfast was good ;loved the belgian waffle maker!; and front desk associates were very friendly.

It is our recent trip to SC. Our first time staying at a Best Western hotel. I should say that it is worth what I paid for. We had an ocean front room. We had a wonderful time. Staff were helpful and the continental breakfast were delightful. It is a family friendly atmosphere. My child enjoyed playing and swimming in the pools, met some really nice people. The only draw back that I can say is that I wish they would've updated their kitchenette area. The supplies were limited which I didn't complain much about b/c the front desk had informed me to bring some supplies ahead. And parking is limited under the main building. You are definaty lucky to find a parking spot while the rest may park across the street. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the 4 story building with the office in it. We had a great ocean front room, which is exactly what we wanted. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff kept our rooms very clean and were very nice. The breakfast saved us at least $80 as opposed to eating in a restaurant and included real waffles, bagels, toast, eggs, fruit, cereal, donuts, juice, milk and coffee. North Myrtle Beach is truly a family beach. Lots of activities for the kids, yet very laid back. The beaches were great and uncrowded. I felt we received great value for our money and we will always stay at this hotel when we visit Myrtle Beach.

Great view very friendly great value. Parking across the street. Very comfortable room with a great view had the convenience of wireless internet and was close to numerous attractions.

Great place. Rooms were clean and included kitchenette. Beds a little soft, but were fine. Continental breakfast was very limited, but coffee was good! Beach access was wonderful, parking can be a problem, but the staff are so nice and helpful, my room had a great balcony, I'm definitely staying there again. Great price, too!

The hotel was adverage (you get what you pay for). The room was very large but not that clean. The ironing board had food on it and the couch was old and worn. The coffee maker was broken but that wasn't such a big deal since they offer free breakfast. The breakfast bar was very crowded so I didn't eat there, just got some juice and left. It is right on the beach which wasn't very crowded. Overall it served it's purpose since I was there on business.

I am amazed at how nice theese poeple are down there. I checked in and I was so stresses since I drove. They were so nice to me. I was early and they went out of their way to get in early and they did. The beach was so beautiful We had a really nice vacation.

Proximity to the beach. Showed its age. The room was sufficient. A number of things needed cosmetic repair. It's awkward that where we stayed was down the street from the main hotel and we had to walk to the office/pool.

Since this was our first time in Myrtle beach we had some difficulty locating the Hotel, but when we got there check in was fast and easy, we were very, very surprised at the room we were assigned, it had a kitchen, living room and sleeping area, everything was very clean, they even provided a continental breakfast every day. It was a GREAT DEAL for the price. We would definitely stay there again. Staff was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. We wish we would have stayed longer. Location was excellent right on the beach, it was to cold to enjoy but we will be back when the weather is better.
