We stayed at this Hotel to settle our daughter into York Uni. It is very close to the Uni and also close enough to walk into York City Centre.

Lovely Hotel with pleasant gardensThe hotel was very comfortable and the rooms well kept and clean. Gardens were very pleasant and would be beautiful in summer. Eevening food was on the expensive side although all seemed to be on th high side in the city compared to others we have visited. Breakfast was god with plently of choice and well cooked. No complaints and would visit again.

No bath mat in bathroom, wallpaper peeling off the wall in corridor outside bedroom, bedroom small, cooked breakfast disappointingly greasy. Reception staff unprofessional and lacking in friendliness.
