Room has several things in need of repair (clock radio and wall outlet). Someone called the room every 5 minutes looking for someone (obviously not in the room) and only speaking spanish. I called the front desk to complain, getting no answer the first time (11pm). The second time, someone said they knew about the problem and would take care of it, but did not. I had to pull the plug on the phone. To the hotel's credit, they gave me a free night's stay at any Best Western for my trouble. However, I don't think I will try this hotel again.

It had just been redone and was very clean. The hall going to the rooms was very narrow. We were disappointed that the shuttle to the hostile did not run on the weekend was our only complaint.

Very good location if your there for going to the hospital for any reason. Walking distance to Baylor clinic, MD Anderson and others. Landry room for the long stay. Main street has many places to eat if you travel south from the hotel. Not all listed in the hotel directory so you need to go look for yourself. Dollar value compared to other hotels around is good. What ever you do dont reserve on aol. I paid more for the room I reserved and didnt get the room I requested either. Plus I made a mistake of not printing out my reservation conf # so I have nothing to go back on.

I had to cancel my reservations with this hotel. I called them directly because of the location near to my Cancer center. When I canceled, whoever took my cancelation gave me my confirmation number as the cancellation number. When I questioned him about it, he said that that was the cancellation number too. When I went to dispute the charge with my credit card company they said I had nothing to fight with because the numbers were the same. I contacted Best Western directly and they said the same thing. I tried to contact this hotel to speak with them and the manager repeatly refused to return my calls. I will be in Houston again, but I will never book with this hotel again.

I really like the location. And the price. Breakfast bar was just ok at best. The hotel staff was great! The room was very clean. And the location was wonderful. I would stay here again for short term stays.

Very convenient for medical center hospitals, Reliant Stadium & downtown (via MetroRail) as the MetroRail stop is just a block east of hotel. Rooms were clean and adequate, on the small side. We stayed during the annual Rodeo and the rates they charge during this time are quite high for the quality of this hotel.

On four occasions, I called the hotel, twice from hospital, and twice from room. I went downstairs to be told by the desk clerk, I was busy. I was calling from the hospital because they offer a shuttle service. needless to say it is useless if they don't answer the phone !!

We visited to meet treatment needs at hospitals. The location can not be beaten. Very convenient to Texas Childrens Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Hospital. Facilities were clean and continental breakfast was a great value. Pool is indoors and has an accompanying whirlpool which helps to relax. Fitness facility was poor. Only 3 machines and a tv. However, you can get your aerobic work done nicely. There is good dining all around this location. The facility is a "light rail" train ride away from Reliant Stadium. An excellent choice for games and events like Texans NFL games. Given our circumstances, we will definitely use again.

Clean, hotel cleaning staff friendly and considerate. One person at the front desk was polite. The other three were rude and unfriendly. Close to medical facilities.
