Our second stay at this hotel and just as good as first time we paid â‚¬160. Big plus is its location very close to Duomo, yet only a short walk for those travelling by train (worth a little extra just for location). Rooms are triple glazed so quiet despite location on main street. Rooms are a bit small for 4* but they are well equiped with good linen and aircon, bathroom has everything and a good TV system. Rooftop breakfast overlooking Duomo is a very welcome start to the day but when it is busy you'll probably have to sit indoors. Breakfast itself is OK but not outstanding.

We stayed for 4 nights while on vacation in Florence. Perfect location!! (2 blocks from the Duomo)for walking the entire city. 3 minutes walk from the train station (no cab required) Rooms were clean, modern and quiet, even though we looked over the main street. The garden terrace is spectacular - what a way to start each day! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast / cappucino and then walked out the door into the center of everything. Staff was friendly, helpful and all spoke good English.

Great location a block from the Duomo and right near all the major sights. Immaculate new rooms were small but efficient and nice...AC worked well. Has Sat TV, but only with CNN and CNBC in English and no pay per view movies or DVD option. No WIFI in room but available in lobby for a charge. No fitness, but who needs it in Florence since you walk everywhere all day. Donot miss the terrace which has a fab view of the Duomo and Florence Hills. This was a good value for the money. Staff could have been nicer and more friendly/helpful though. Needs a concierge, because they act like they are doing you a favor to pay attention to your question or give you guidance about where to go. Bring your guidebooks and a laptop with DVDs if you are going to stay here.
