Nice hotel but although it is downtown, it really feels like it is in the middle of nowhere. It is a long walk or taxi ride to anything of great significance. However, it is conveniently close to the airport and still affordable.

Thank you Zuji for listing this hotel. I found it to be excellent value for money. Well located with staff who try very hard to make their guests feel at home. The food was very good, with a good selection of all types of food in the breakfast buffet. The facilities are very new and I really appreciated the modern shower. Next time I will bring my laptop to take advantage of the free internet access in each room. The choice of Western food and Chinese food in the two restaurants was good and allowed a visitor such as myself to adjust his diet accordingly.Staff are very helpful and polite, and do not ask for tips. They are understandably proud of their city which has been voted the most livable city in China. I enjoyed the beautiful West Lake very much.I would happily return to this hotel.
