Hotel is OK. Let down by little things that annoy me tremendously - like the hotel has only one, extremely slow lift, to serve all floors. Also, on check in the staff didnt programme my door entry card properly - so after waiting for the lift, enduring the slow ride -= my door key didnt work ! Attention to detail lacking. My room as small but had everything I needed. Best thing about the hotel is the location - Covent Garden is a 10 minute walk.

Great locationSuperb spot, bang in the west end and very easy to find. Friendly and helpful staff, no problems were had at all, though expected a better room for the price paid for 'The Club Room', but that is my only gripe.

Really good location for a lively weekend, suited our needs perfectly, close to the west end and China town, The only bad point was the parking fairly close but no deal with the Parking facility, when I have stayed at hotels in London/Uk before and they don't have there own parking, they normally have a discounted price, It cost £30 for one nights parking and was a drama moving Baggage etc to the hotel. The room was really good, good size and well designed, I will definetly be staying here again Thanks

one night stay in hot weatherprime location for the West end, small but welcoming front lobby and helpful staffroom was well appointed but the highlights were the aircon (on when I arrived at 6:30pm so the room was pleasantly cool); bowl of fruit (complementary) and tea/coffee.Decent size room for the location, comfortable bed, relatively quiet, perfectly cleanOverall a very pleasant experience

No bath or tv in bathroom, just shower which was very disappointing as the chance to chill out for an hour or so after a long days work been part of the reason I booked. No other rooms were available. The air con unit was also close to my small room and noisy throughout the evening / night. On the upside, the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and there was a nice complementary fruit basket on arrival. Food from room service was adequate (steak, chips and garlic mushrooms - though the mushroom was small and singular!). The best thing about the hotel is its fantastic location, for which reason I would stay again, just with lowered expectations.

Best Western PremierHotel has very central location and so this made it value for money at £99 R/O for 1 night. The room was very small and rather cramped though and cannot believe that they would ever charge over £300 for this normally. It just fitted in the double bed and a table, wardrobe was down a little corridor where doors opened obstructed the entrance to the bathroom. There was a TV in the bathroom which was a novelty though. Definitely worth £99 though. Clean and tidy.

Lift didn't work during my recent stay but good hotel and very well located for Theatre land. I took the superior room for an extra £10 which still wasn't palacial but fine for a two night stay. Breakfast good. Street noisy at night if you have the window open.

So noisy I never slept at all!Overall this hotel was pretty basic with very poor levels of service and extreme levels of noise throughout the night. I totally understand that staying in central London on a Friday night will not be a tranquil experience. What I had not bargained on was such excessive levels of noise that I was unable to sleep at all. I phoned reception at 3am to see if there was another room that we could move to but the hotel was fully booked. There were unable to provide earplugs and informed me that this is a regular Friday night complaint. The night staff informed me that they would let the morning shift manager know about my complaint. On checking out, a woman who told me she was the shift manager (but was not wearing a name badge like all the other employees), told me there was no note of my complaint. When I began to explain how unhappy I was with the service she eventually offered me a small refund of £20. As she worked on our bill she then told me that when she was walking to work that morning that someone from our floor of the hotel had thrown a cigarette out of a window on to the street below. She then explained that before she would give us our tiny refund she wanted to be sure that it wasn't us. I was completely shocked and very offended. I am 6 months pregnant and can't imagine why anyone would accuse someone in my condition of such abhorrent behaviour. Our word that indeed it was not us was not then enough and she sent someone to inspect our room. Of course on their return they confirmed that it was not our room after all and so we would get out refund. Her attitude throughout was appalling and I began to wonder if all guest who complained were counter-accused of bad behaviour. I would never stay in this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

A genuine surprise from a bad startOn entering the hotel reception, my heart sank. The decor was tacky. Late rooms had advertised this hotel as 4* BUT the hotel rated itself as 3*. Obviously the standard I had expected. But on reaching the room, I found the hotel had some lovely character, the bed was comfortable and the facilities very clean and modern. A box of chocolates and bottle of wine waiting on the bed was a nice touch. The breakfast is exceptional and the location of the hotel is very handy. I would stay here again.

Ideal location, room on the small sideSituated about 200 yards from PIccadilly Circus and 200 yards from a group of theatres around Old Compton St/Charing Cross Rd, this is in an absolutely ideal location if you're planning a theatre visit and overnight stay. There wasn't much room to move around in our bedroom, but that's the only downside we found - anyway what do want to stay in your room for when visiting London, other than to use the bathroom and bed ?

20th Wedding AnniversaryI had emailed the hotel twice before arrival to confirm our booking had been recieved due to the fact I had read that others had indeed been moved to other hotels on arrival due to over booking and as it was out wedding anniversary I didn't want to arrive to the same sort of chaos. However despite TWO emails I recieved no response. On arrival though much to my delight the reception staff were extrememly welcoming and the booking in process was swift and pleasant. The main lift is still not working and as I had read other reviews this dates back some time now so be prepared for this during your stay here. There is however use of the service lift but this is only accessible from the first floor so it doesnt appear suitable for guests who are less mobile. This lift is quite small and requires the users to close a gate after use to enable other guests to use it so we found it not always available which meant a long climb of the stairs which are very hot.On booking we had upgraded to the Club room which has a little extra of everything and also includes breakfast. This is a must in my opinion, as this to me was quite basic. The room was quite small, the bathroom miniscule with no tv despite it being a club room (but then again with no bath why would one need a tv in there). The turndown service is not with chocolate as listed but on the second night no turndown service at all. Considering that I paid £378 and saved £738 meaning the weekend accomodation should have cost around £1000 I am disappointed with the quality of the room. I feel I havent saved but was only provided with what I had been billed. Despite leaving our room at 7.30am on Sat and not returning till around 2.30pm the room still hadnt been serviced we left the room again at 6.30pm that evening and still no service on our return.Postitives - Close to theatre, shops, attractions. Quality breakfast, Friendly, helpful staff.Negatives - Rooms are small and and lacking in quality, Maid

Very central although NoisyGood Hotel if you can get a good rate, I've stayed here a couple of times and on this latest stay got an Exec Room on level 5 for £149 which had some extra space.Normal rooms are a little cramped and the noise from the street outside is prominent if you need the window open for cooling.Quick walk to Theatre land and Leicester Square and Opposite China Town.

Brilliant location, brilliant room, brilliant hotel! This hotel is in a perfect location if you want to be in the middle of London with easy access to tube stations and theatres. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to the top room and it was very nice and very clean with plenty of room. Staff were pleasant, especially Marcin the concierge!
