Beautiful Supalai

Probably the friendliest and most helpful hotel i have ever stayed at. We were treated like royalty for the whole duration of our stay and really enjoyed the interaction with the staff there. On arrival we were given a complimentary drink whilst we checked in and as soon as we reached our room our luggage was already there.

The hotel itself is less than a year old and has yet to have a full season but it's location is breathtaking. Situated on the north eastern part of Phuket in Ao Po it faces the gulf of Thailand and enjoys unspoilt views with no other resorts in sight just the surrounding Thai villages. The tourist part of Phuket, Pattong town, where we spent most of our nights was a 45 minute drive away but it was great staying away from the hustle and noise and heading back to our retreat in Ao Po. The hotel's Taxi service was always on hand to take us there and pick us up for 1,400 Baht and was never an issue.

The hotel has a really good pool on two levels with a bar in it but I thought the gym facilities were a bit of a let down with just a few machines.

Food was good with European breakfast served as was the meals ordered during the day both Thai and Euro food. As for the beach, it was a 5 minute hike down to to it and a bit silty to lay on and unfortunately we never got round to trying any spa treatments.

Overall we had a very pleasant holiday in Phuket with the hotel playing a major part in our enjoyment.
