We were upgraded to a suite! Great place. We were upgraded to a suite, it was gorgeous. Good view of the strip, yet the room was quiet. The staff was excellent. No complaints from us. Definitely would stay here again.

Younger crowd, and excellent location, great drink specials. Little on the cheesy side and out dated. It was great for what we wanted to do in Vegas (Drink, and Gamble). Central on the strip can walk to anything on the strip. Didn't sleep much, so room wasn't an issue, it was great or a cheap bachelor party. I would recommend this for some one who is just going to Vegas for the weekend and is going to do a lot of casino hopping, a lot of drinking, and a lot of gamboling, and not much sleeping, not that the rooms aren't nice but I would imagine there hotels with better rooms.

Great location. Easy, convenient parking. Helpfull and pleasant staff. Bed was very confortable, however, they have only down pillows so if you are allergic as I am, bring your own as they dont have any other options. Room was a little loud as we were on the first floor and right on the corner. But we were so tired when we got back to the room, it was not much of an issue. "Big Elvis" was terrific!

"It is THE center of the strip; Bally's, Caesar's, Bellagio, Flamingo are all RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOORS. Can't ask for better location than that. Rooms are Ultra-quiet. Could not hear a peep from outside without opening bathroom window (from the 3rd floor). Rooms are wonderfully comfortable; beds, shower, flat-screen TVs all great. Casino floor is small but fun. Long wait for bellman and only 1 restaurant of suspect quality, but no complaints otherwise. You won't stick around when not in your room, but it's Vegas! For quiet sanctuary, request room NOT facing strip like mine."

Large, comfortable room overlooking Bellagio, very convenient location. 2 minute phone call from room cost $26.00 while card on phone said cost is $1.25 plus I received an unsympathetic, demeaning tone from desk clerk. The casino itself reminds me of outdated Reno, but once I found my way to the room, WOW. The room was overlooking the Bellagio fountains (with a window open you can clearly hear the music too), large king size bed, big screen TV; overall just very clean and new. I was very pleased. I dined at the restaurant, and here too I was very pleased. From the room, I called a friend and told him to call me back (I didn't have my cell phone). 2 minutes/$26.00. Upon mentioning this to the desk clerk, I was treated like I was a idiot for not having a cell and rudely educated that these are standards phone rates at all hotels. The phone issue was the only bad taste left in my mouth upon leaving bills.

My husband and I stayed at Bill's the weekend of January 30, 2009. We were pleasantly surprised with Bill's. The rooms were spacious and clean and the plasma TV was really a nice touch. The bathroom was super tiny, and there wasn't much counter space, but there was a desk with a mirror that I used as a vanity. There was also a full-length mirror, which you normally don't see outside luxury hotels. The beds were very comfortable and the room service food was very good and arrived quickly - given that it was Super Bowl weekend. We were in room 402, which faced the Bellagio fountains. Awesome view, but something on the outside of the building kept making a clanking sound and it woke us up several times. I'm sure we could have switched rooms but we decided to just stay put since we weren't in the room all that much. The street noise was unbelievably loud - sirens and honking horns all day and night... but maybe that's just Vegas? All-in-all it was a nice hotel and the price was right.

This was our first stay at Bill's. We were a regular at the Barbary Coast and decided to give it a try. Now here's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. GOOD= Parking only a short walk from your room, if you've ever stayed at Planet Hollywood you know what I mean. Location is within walking distance of Everything. 99 cent Margaritas!! Nice, comfortable rooms. BAD= Lousy Casino, Poor(non existent)Service, No food worth eating other than $1.75 hot dogs(good), young and noisy clientele. UGLY= If you are on the Flamingo Ave side there is All Night Noise!!! I'm not kidding this place is like being next to a freeway with the added bonus of Screaming Banshees, Really noisy. But you'll have a view of the fountains. That's good.NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. You can open a window to get some fresh air and you have individual HVAC controls. This for us was a plus in our hope of not getting hotel sick. Fresh, not recirculated air will keep you away from the Big Hotel Blues. There's no hotel shop to speak of but Batista's Hole In the Wall is right outside the door, good for Beer, Chips, Antacids, Groceries, Water(don't drink Vegas Water) etc. This hotel is good for partiers, young people on a budget and the deaf. Hope you enjoy it, We'll be at the Monte Carlo. By the way, There is NO BETTER WAY to travel than Travel agency, I love this Site.

Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon (formerly Barbary Coast), LAS VEGAS, NV is a great location for those who like to move up and down the strip. It's location make it easy to get around while the casino is very friendly and cozy place to play. Rooms are clean and updated with plazma TV's. For those who drive, it is simple to park your car and get in and out.

"When you stay at the Barbarry Coast you get treated like royality. The staff is great, the rooms are clean, the people are friendly. We prefer tostay here because it is SO convienent. If you're cold, it's not more than a four story ride to your room. If you want uber luxury, stay somewhere else. If you want to go and have a GREAT time, stay here. "

Great location. Extremely clean and large room. Great view from room. No pool or Jacuzzi on site, Small casino area. Location is perfect, center strip. View from room was excellent. Room was surprisingly oversized. Smaller property with no pool or Jacuzzi on site; hotel does offer access to the Flamingo’s health club next door. Could hear the street noise all night long. Not as nice as the bigger, newer casinos, but well worth the price.

This was mine and my husbands first trip to Vegas, after reading lots of reviews and talking with different people who have made the trip to Vegas, Bills Gambling Hall was our choice...And a great choice it was. We checked in after 10:00 p.m. with NO PROBLEMS what so ever, in fact they were ready and waiting for our arrival. The staff was great!! We loved the fact that Bill's is right in the middle of the the strip, right in the middle of everything yet still small enough we didn't have to be overwhelmed or worry about getting lost. After walking around and looking at all the other casinos and hotels, we KNOW we made the best choice for us. The Big Elvis show is a MUST, very entertaining and free! We have told all our friends what a great place Bill's is and we can't wait to plan our next trip to Vegas. Bill's Gambling Hall is certainly where we will be staying!!!

I went for the first time to Las Vegas last year and stayed 10 days. Went back again this year for 4. The rooms are huge. I had a friend staying at Caesar's come and visit and he was surprised at how large and clean the rooms were. It's true there are no lines checking in or out. The place isn't a maze. I found all the employees to be very nice. This place is next to the Flamingo, Caesar's, Bally's, and Bellagio. I was able to see the fountain show from my window. It's not a big casino, but they offer tutorials. Going back this Labor Day. Bringing mom with me. I ate in the hotel only once both times. I must admit I think the buffet at Planet Hollywood was the best. That's only 1 or 2 blocks away.

It was our first time in Las Vegas, so had no experience or preconceived ideas about what to expect. The hotel was right in the heart of the strip, easy to walk to destinations in either direction. The hotel check-in was a breeze, unlike some other hotels that we saw with LONG lines waiting to check-in. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is not a huge high rise, but a four story facility. The room was not luxurious, but it was very clean, spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were amazed how quiet it was in the room. With the noise of the street and casinos close, it was not a concern at all. I would recommend this hotel anytime and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff all seem to be very uptight at their jobs, had a clogged drain in the shower and it took a total of three days to get it fixed. When the maint guy came up he was very aggitated that he had to come back. He stated that I had not pulled the bath tub stopper all the up enough for the water to drain. Little did he know, I'm a mechanicle engineer by trade. After 20 minutes of plunging he finally got the drain clear, does that sound like a stopper problem to you? Anyway he stormed out of the room without saying "Have a good day" or anything.

Checked in at 10:30 P.M. and the front desk supervisor made arrangments to get us in a non-smoking, king room even though we were late checking in. Bill's is first come first serve regarding rooms. Anyway, she was very nice and made us feel welcome. Once checked in, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, with a nice 42 " flat screen on the wall right across from a very comfortable bed. Water pressure in the shower was good, no complaints with anything. Maid service insured that we had fresh towels daily w/o even asking. My husband and I have stayed at fancier places, but we really enjoyed Bills, mainly for its simplicity. You can't get lost in Bills like some of the other places Vegas. Enjoyed dinner at the Steak House. The casino attracted a nice group of folks. My husband enjoyed playing at the 5 and 10 dollar tables, which are hard to find in other casinos and even walked out with more than he brought in-that's always a good thing. Bottom line, you can't beat the location, right in the center of the strip and the price was way more than fair. Had a great time.

Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon was a GREAT place to stay in Las Vegas. We were in the middle of the Strip where we could walk to many of the sites we were interested in seeing. However, we could not participate in the Casino part of the Hotel. The dining options were good but we ate elsewhere. Bill's was very clean and comfortable. This Hotel is small compared to the other places in Vegas. The staff was friendly and helpful to us. We were pleased with the sense of security provided during our stay. The rooms were modern ,especially the plasma TV. I would highly recommend Bill's to anyone visiting Las Vegas. It was a great value for the money. Best of all it was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE.

Location was excellent. Easy to walk around and get to the Interstate. Hard to find food at 3 am. I am actually a resident of Las Vegas and stayed here to spend time with friends that were visiting and avoid commuting to meet up with them every day. I have seen quite a few rooms in Vegas and this can be considered as an older property now in terms of the strip hotels. It is by no means fancy but it is by far the best value for the accommodations on the strip. It is not as smoky as I thought it would be. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The two best features of the room were that the sink was separate from the toilet/shower and the toilet/shower had a window in it to let out all that steam. Overall this room suited us perfectly for what we needed it for and is in walking distance to almost everything. If not, it's at least a cheap cab ride.
