My wife and I were all set to wrap up our fantastic European honeymoon in Rome for 3 nights and were looking forward to dropping our bags for the final time at the Boutique Hotel Trevi. After traveling all day from Venice we arrived at the hotel around 5PM only to have them tell us that there was a problem with the lock for our room and they couldn't get us in until tomorrow - translation - they overbooked! After talking about this with the front desk for a while it was clear that this was not going to change. They let us know not to worry, they were going to put us up in another one of their 4 star sister hotels. The other hotel was a dump on a major road, a far cry from the incredible tucked away location of the Trevi Fountain. It took them until 8 PM the following night to get us back into our original room with our luggage. We were never sincerely apologized to or ever offered any consideration for the huge inconvenience. Instead we were left hauling our luggage up and down in the sister hotel multiple times, since they did not have a bellhop, as they tried to coordinate getting us back to the room that we originally paid for. Instead of focusing on the beauty of Rome we were left worrying about getting our luggage and ourselves back to the little hotel next to the Tevi Fountain where we envisioned spending the final leg of our honeymoon. The Boutique Hotel Trevi robbed us of our first 36 hours in Rome . You can never truly ruin a trip to Rome especially on your honeymoon, but they certainly dampered it. I will never stay at this hotel again and I will never stay at any hotel in the Leonardi Hotel chain.

Perfect for a romantic time on your own break from the children. Position of hotel very central, every site you would like to visit is a stones throw away. hotel and staff perfect perfect perfect. clean discreet quite all just wonderful. We cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay. One fault if we are forced to find fault, breakfast is very sweat, lots of cakes if you have a sweat tooth you would not leave. but lastly we must say thank you for a perfect three days.

Boutique hotel trevi - Brilliant Hotel, Perfect Location!I visited Rome for just 1 night on the way back from a friend's wedding. I'd been before so knew the bext areas to stay to make the most of our short time. This hotel was gorgeous - not particularly cheap at £220 per night (stayed end June on a Sunday) but a perfect location - literally 10 steps from the Trevi Fountain. The hotel has large rooms and lovely furniture, very fitting with the old Italian theme. There was a slight leak from the air conditioning unit in the ceiling - but the next day they gave me the movie i rented for free. Movies available were up to date and loads of choice for families and adults, so i thought that made up for it. And there was a Jacuzzi bath! I'm sold!! The staff were exceptionally helpful and we had breakfast in bed at 7am, at no extra charge. This was a perfect location and perfect hotel for us. I cant sing it's praises enough!
