Very well situated, on the riverfront esplanade, and easy walking to all the main sights and shops! Room very basic and small, with bed reading lights that need a PhD to work out how to use, and for some reason the room had 2 new airconditioners (one not working). Front desk and bar/breakfast staff were courteous - and they do a good iced coffee !

The staff at the Bretagna were marvelous...helpful, pleasant, caring, and knowledgeable. The location is absolutely perfect, right on the Arno at the end of Via Tornabuoni. Although the elevator could use some updating, it is a charming residence and accomodated our family's every need. The 24 hour bar/pizza is a definite PLUS!
