The Broadway Plaza Hotel is a cozy and intimate boutique hotel located in the heart of New York City, at 27th Street and Broadway. The hotel completed their renovation on all guestrooms and bathrooms in 2007. Guests will enjoy new cherry wood furniture with new pillow top mattresses, down feather beds and granite countertops in the restrooms. This inviting and friendly hotel offers 69 rooms and suites that includes continental breakfast and 24 hour complimentary coffee/tea service in the room rate. The hotel is just minutes from Times Square, Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, the Theater District, SOHO, Greenwich Village, Macy's and Herald Square and all the fabulous shopping of Fifth and Sixth Avenue. All Broadway Plaza Hotel rooms offer gem toned decor featuring (2) two line telephones, work desk, cable TV with HBO and 4 ESPN'S,over 80 Pay Per View movies, CD Library, Express Check out in 4 languages, iron board/irons, and hairdryers. Wireless hi speed Internet access is available at 9.95 per day. Safety deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk and all guest rooms have in room safes. Certain rooms have scenic views of the Empire State Building. The hotel does allow pets of 25 pounds or less. If the guest is sight impaired, there is no weight or size limit. However, an additional 100 deposit is required at check in. This deposit is returned at check out if no damage has been done to the room. Pets cannot be left in the room unattended at any time due to possible noise/barking. Complimentary continental breakfast is available from 7am - 10am.

I thought Broadway Plaza was overpriced for the location, amenities, services and room quality. Nevertheless, the doormen were friendly and helpful and have some good information on local restuarants. The complimentary continental breakfast was a plus. The rooms were not vacuumed every day which was a problem. Our room had a wonderful view of the Empire State Builidng. There were a number of funky little shops in the direct vicinity but few restaurants.

Usually when I stay in Manhattan, I get a mid-town location for because of that, the room is smaller. This ended up being a bargain. Staff were very helpful. Cabs were hard to find, but bellman was diligent. No chairs in the rooms. Great view of Empire State Bldg.

The Broadway Plaza is in a great location, close to the Subway and Major Bus routes. We started out going to the Empire State Observatory to get a prospective on the entire city. This was very helpful. Then we took in the major sites in the city. We were there for nine days and it was enough time to enjoy the city, the shows and the museums. What a great city.

The Broadway Plaza Hotel was better than I expected. The room was VERY large for a NYC hotel (including the bathroom) and the staff was extremely friendly. The location was perfect. Once we arrived, we didn't have to take a cab or subway anywhere. MSG is very close, as well as some restaurants. Times Square is also very close. The hotel also provides discounted parking at a reliable garage. Park first and get your coupon before you check out. I will definitely stay at Broadway Plaza Hotel again.

The hotel was very small, and the room size reflected that. I was unable to get a king size bed which I was disappointed, but the room was clean, bathroom was nice with large towels.A very nice plus was breakfast (bagels, muffins, donuts, juice, coffee, tea) nicely presented, in a small room with a few tables.

My wife and I had always wanted to go to New York. We studied this hotel and thought it would meet our needs. It was so close to things that it made our trip easy. HOWEVER, we could not sleep at night because RATS would crawl on the ceiling at night. We HAD TO SLEEP WITH THE LIGHTS ON IN ORDER TO CONTROL THE RATS!

I stayed in a Jr. Suite with 3 other adults. The room is exactly what is shown online, the hotel employees extremely helpful, friendly, courteous. The location is ok... not the best but none of us ever felt unsafe, we had a wonderful time in NYC and definately would stay there again. The room is hugh, the bathroom hugh, no noise, plently of privacy.

This hotel was off the beaten path but I would definitely stay here again. It was very quiet with only 4 or 5 rooms per floor and the service was beyond belief. The staff was so helpful no matter what your request from giving directions or hailing a cab for you, and the price was very reasonable. It was several 11 to be exact blocks from Times Square but I assure you the walk was very enjoyable you will see many things along the way.

My sister and I stayed at the BPH in December for 3 nights. It was our first trip to New York, and the stay was great. We were both a little leary because of some of the reviews, but I am telling you truthfully, I was not scared ever. Not even walking back after dark. There are about three blocks of wholesale shops between you and Macy's but it was great. We would definitely stay there again. The view was great, and the people were wonderful.

This hotel is excellent value for the $. However all rooms radiate around the elevator so it can be noisy if people are coming and going. The rooms are very clean and large, the beds very comfortable. Overall a good centralized location, the neighborhood looks a little rough but it really is just fine.
