Stopped in guest house, 2mins drive from main hotel, so had to travel for breakfast, but fry-up was nice. Once you get used to the layout (like a 4 bedroom flat) it's ok, just have to time sowering right. Plenty of reasonably priced bars with food around and just 5mins walk from centre of High Wycombe. I didn't use the kitchen area but it seemed to have everything you'd need. Room was basic, but adequate, although no coat-hangers in wardrobe.

Didn't live up to the expectations, no ipod player as advertised, no plasma tv in room, no satalite channels in room, annoying outside ilght that made the room feel like it was in constant daybreak (difficult to sleep!), no telephone in room, toilet was dirty, deco was seriously dated, lock on door did not feel secure, bad sound proofing (to the point that I could hear the snoring in the room next door) , no desk or stationary in room. Overall an expensive stay whereby the whole operation seemed amature. The only good points were the toiletries and wifi (and even that was restricted). Sorry but not up to stratch more like a b&b.

The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was excellent - it had just been completely refitted. However, overall the value for money was poor - the hotel is clean but in a state of renovation, parking is poor, there was no restaurant facility and at a cost of £97 per night I felt that this made it far too expensive. Once the renovations are complete, and providing parking and a restaurant for evening meals are available, then I might re-think my critical comments.

A slightly strange set-up with this 'annex' being a half km down the street from the hotel and reception, opposite a pub and a bar that offers erotic dancing, without the convenience of parking and poximity of hotel staff and so on.. The staff were pleasant enough and helpful. I had thought that the room would have an on-suite bathroom but there was only a bathroom to be shared with the other rooms in the house, much to the dismay of other guests that I overheard who had also been led to believe, one way or another, that they were booked into a room with an on-suite. At £37 a night for a small room in a stand alone terraced house, with a dirty carpet, in High Wicombe, this is far from value for money. And to think that the room's normal price was advertised at over £100... what more can I say? I'm glad that all I needed was a relatively cheap and peaceful place to sleep.

The appartments were advertised as being adjacent to the hotel but were acually a mile down the road. The hotel kindly got a driver to take us down there on arrival but there after had to make it on foot for the 15 minute walk to breakfast each day. As we didn't have transport. Ah well it kept us fit. The apartments were very nice and the staff very friendly. The maids had even washed up some dirty cups we had left on the worktop. We wish to add this isn't a complaint.

Big re-rurb project going on, did not create any issues, parking a bit limited. Rooms clean and modern, decent Television. Good local amenities.
