This resort was very private-each casita has a patio and the pool was awesome (also 24 hours/day!). I didn't really dislike anything-they had construction going on, but they covered it up well. I gave 10's for everything, except the room got a nine. The only reason is because it wasn't the "nicest most elaborate" room I've ever stayed in, but the room was really cute and had a lot of character-very southwest themed. The smallest room they have is 550 sq ft-which is pretty big. It had a kitchenette and a great patio with a view of Camelback Mountain. The bathroom itself was a great size but the tub was a little small (no romantic baths for two, but with the remodel, maybe they will update those). The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were the quality thread count you'd expect from a resort. We ordered room service and they said it would be 30 minutes and it was at our room in 15. Food was excellent and they threw in some big warm cookies for free. The pool though was our favorite part. We liked it by day, but it was a little crowded. We loved it at night! It's a 24 hour pool, it's lit very nicely and people weren't checking on you every 30 minutes. Also, this hotel is about 10 minutes away from Old town Scottsdale-with their many bars and restaurants, so there is a ton to do at your fingertips. We were very sad to leave.

The most scenic location in phoenix. The resort is huge so if you mind walking it could be a problem. Top of the line resort at most scenic location in the heart of paradise valley in Scottsdale. Excellent pools and services. Beautiful, clean, and complete rooms. As good as it gets for both families and kick back executives.

Most beautiful resort I have been too. This resort was amazing. The landscape of the property had the most exotic flowers and plants that scented the grounds. Immaculate!

Beautiful setting, very nice rooms. A bit off beaten bath for business, great for leisure. This is a great spot to stay in for a weekend getaway with your significant other. Beautiful hotel, scenic location, friendly staff, quite and relaxing.

Great setting at camelback mountain. Rooms where below grade for a JW Marriott. This is a JW Marriott in name only. The rooms where dark with low ceilings. Corian counter tops, Formica cabinets and Moen faucets are not the stuff a JW Marriott is made of. The food was also not up to the JW standards. If you go, lower your expectations to a Hilton garden inn that was built 60 years ago.

We absolutely loved it here. Easy check in, beautiful "casita" close to pool. Laundry room nearby and was free! Flavored ice water by the pool all day, towels at the pool, plenty of seating with umbrellas by pool. Everyone was very nice and courteous. Only one server made us feel rushed and seemed irritated by our questions. We never would have been able to afford during season and yet we felt as if we fit right in. Meals were a little expensive at Rita's Kitchen which was the lower priced restaraunt in the hotel. Also, had to pay for transportation to airport $40-$50.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort was very clean and room service was excelent. It was my first time in AZ with my 9 year old daughter who can not wait to return to this wonderful resort. The pool was not crowded and open 24 hours which made it nice to go there late at night. The restaurant close to the pool made it convenient by serving snacks until midnight while at the pool. My daughter and I can not wait to return. Everything was at the resort that anyone would need-gift shops, restaurants, room service, pool, beautiful scenery, and so much more... I strongly recommend this resort to anyone visitng Phoenix, AZ.

Great location friendly staff, large room No central gathering place like at the Hyatt Very nice facility in a great Paradise Valley location with easy access to Scottsdale and Phoenix activities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a large room which was perfect for our needs. Only negative is that this resort is comprised of individual casitas spread around many acres with no large central place to gather out of the sun.

The grounds were beautiful. The hotel was perfect. The grounds were beautiful, the hotel was elegant but comfortable. Even though there were a lot of people there, the feeling was of being in our own special place. My partner told me he thought this was the nicest place we have ever stayed. He's right!

The 1/2 price appetizers and live music at the poolside block party added to our enjoyment. Scenic deserts capes were great. The room had uninviting odors (recently flooded fungus carpet smell, dirty hair smell on couch). The staff was exceeding efficient and friendly. Food was delicious, especially the 1/2 price appetizers at the poolside block party. Menus offered very affordable kids' fare. Offensive room odors were the only downside of our two-day stay.

Golf and tennis at resort, high speed internet worked flawlessly. Alarm clocks by the bed are very complicated, difficult to work. Spacious rooms with excellent thermostats to keep the room cool. Excellent restaurant/food. High quality tennis pro available for lessons. Cable for high speed internet assures no interruptions of service. Beautiful sunsets, great patios for enjoying the balmy nights. I traveled with 2 other business associates, can't wait to go back.

Outstanding, very well maintained and very pleasant staff. Web Connection was terrible. Hotel is incredible for those on leisure travel, but Business type features were not there, especially the ability to connect in a comfortable working table/desk. Other than that I will try to go back to enjoy this hotel and amenities to their fullest.

Very nice amenities, room was clean and spacious, staff was very friendly. One jacuzzi not cleaned / working, rooms need updating The location, staff and amenities were great! They had everything that we could want there, bed and furniture was clean, room was big and smelled clean. It seemed a little outdated. I looked at the old paint and tile and it seemed a bit subpar. One of the two jacuzzis was wasn't cleaned; it had leaves and bugs and lukewarm water.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The casitas are very comfortable. Loved having an outside patio. Food/drinks are a little pricey. Camelback Inn, nestled between Camelback and Mummy Mountains, is a delightful place to stay. Everything seems designed to relax. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. The staff is friendly. The casitas are spacious and comfortable. Each has its own patio. It's a great location for a couple who wants privacy or a gathering of people. One can't help but enjoy the stay.

Beautiful view, and very peaceful. It was very clean, and the pool was relaxing. Outdated decor in the rooms. They're in the middle of renovating the hotel though. Beautiful resort. The decor was a little outdated, but they're in the middle of renovation. The service was superb, and the pool was very relaxing. You can't beat the beautiful views of Camelback Mountain. The beds were also very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

It was wonderful. My family had a wonderful time. The ants climbing on the outside of our room. Hotel was wonderful. The room was located very close to the pool. Our kids just thought that was awesome. The man who was behind the desk when we checked in made sure we had the room we wanted. Very nice.

Convenience - clean - beautiful grounds. Bathrooms dated - pillows hard - had to pay for star bucks coffee in room. I would stay here again; due to old bathrooms & doors, I would rate this as a three star until they remodel.
