The units are 2 and 3 bedroom, with kitchens and eating area. Great for families. Within easy walking distance of groceries, shops and restaurants.

My husband and I decided to spend the night at the canadian rockies chalet in May/09 for our honeymoon. We were very excited being our first time in the rockies. When first getting out key we had to sign a piece of paper stating we will not make any noice past a certain time or we will be charged or "security will come and kick us out" NIce to know we thought. Until the paper thin walls separating the upstairs apartment let every single sound in possible. We went to the front desk at 10:30 and asked for a new room. Now that's an incovenience we wouldn't want the front desk clerk to have to move, instead we were told don't worry about we will warn them. Great we thought, so the entire night we got to listen to one single person make so much noice it sounded like cattle were running around upstairs. I would recommend this hotel to nobody the service was horrible and the front desk clerk was useless.

The accomodations were clean and spacious. The location gave us easy access to Banff and the surrounding park, hiking and scenery. The rooms were beautifully appointed and homey. It was definitely the best place we stayed during our 2 week trip to Canada. And the prices were quite affordable. I will definitely return again.

Clean, spacious, friendly staff. 2 bedroom suite was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly. We only stayed one night but would definitely return. Just note that the hotel is located right next to the train tracks (as are many in Canmore). We definitely heard the trains but it did not bother us.
