The best located accommodation in the City, our modern hotel rooms provide stunning and unrivalled views of Canterbury Cathedral. With only 35 bedrooms, you will receive a dedicated, friendly service in a setting that is peaceful, secure and relaxing. We also offer Cathedral Value Rooms, located in a building adjacent to the main Lodge. Although these no frills rooms do not benefit from Cathedral Views, they are the perfect solution for someone on a budget wishing to explore the area. Canterbury Cathedral Lodge is the ideal base to explore Canterbury's picturesque, cobbled streets and visit the City's excellent eateries and shops. Guests will enjoy relaxing in an oasis of calm in the centre of the city. Parking cannot be guaranteed, please contact the hotel in advance to arrange parking. A deposit payment equivalent to one night's stay will be taken at the time if booking. All guests receive free entrance to the Cathedral worth £7.50 per person.

A wonderful experienceCanterbury Cathedral lodge was a delight to stay in. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the cleanliness of the lodge was pristine. Our room was lovely, fairly small but with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the cathedral. The parking is extremely convenient, though it is a little tight when using the alternative exit after 6! Breakfast was nice, fairly standard continental fare, but very pleasant waiting staff. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

Perfect location right in the heart of the City within the grounds of the Cathedral, easy walking and secure parking was a bonus Rooms small but adequate Cathedral was being cleaned and scaffolding erected from bedroom view but still worth the visit, would stay again at Lateroom prices . Please read instructions on entry as the gate closes at 6 oclock and you have to ring the bell,

Fantastic locationFantastic location with view of cathedral from room.Room rather small but ok for one night.Breakfast a bit of a rush as not available until 7.30 & we needed to leave at 8 to catch a ferry! Free entrance to cathedral included in price.

Excellent location and value for the moneyThis was a delight. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and had all of the necessary accoutrements. Inspiring to stay on the grounds of the cathedral.
