Overall we were disappointed with this hotel. It is right in the city centre which makes it an ideal base for shopping and sight seeing however if you take the car it is a hike from the council car park to the hotel and we struggled to get a parking space. The hotel is very dated and reminded me of 1980's Dallas or Dynasty era without the glamour! The breakfast was awful and I hope foreign visitors do not think that is a proper scottish breakfast- yuck! The rooms were very hot, air- con available however very noisy so your choice is to bake in the heat or listen to the mechanics of the air- con all night. The hotel advertises complimentary beverages in the room and executive lounge, however I wanted a glass of white wine and twice that was not available. I could go on but I won't- my advice go to another city centre hotel as Glasgow is a brilliant place to visit.

My Overall stay @ this experience was good - not the best, but it was a interesting place!!I had to pay £45 for internet use over 48hours, and majority of the staff were helpful and polite barr one - The Duty Manager. After being asked to be spoken to by her I was informed that, she had made the decision that I had been smoking in the room on my stay - I am a non-smoker, so dont know how this can be, afterall the receptionist did say to me upon checkout it was either My room or the other in question, but the duty manager failed to check this, and therefore assumed i was the guilty one, her attitude was unprofessional and cocky......In the end I was told that If i didnt admit to this error then I wouldnt be accepted back to the hotel in future. Im a deputy general manager myself for a hotel, so i know the policys etc on smoking in bedrooms and would not smoke to cause damage etc in the rooms!!I shall not be returning to the hotel anyway, and, wasnt even offered a apology for the inconvenice and delay that was caused to my day.

Fantastic city centre location - particularly if you are travelling to Glasgow by train. Despite the central location our room was perfectly quiet at night. Decor looking a wee bit tired but in some ways it was a nice change to go somewhere that wasn't all beige and minimalist! There is a mini bar in the room and its contents are FREE. The hotel does not have its own bar but the mini bar makes up for this and they give you free drinks vouchers for an Irish bar next door.

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Restaurant food was great as were the staff. The executive lounge was fabulous and the perfect place to wind down after a busy day at the shops. Will most definately use this hotel again and would thoroughly recommend it.

Really pleasant small hotel located in the centre of Glasgow. Very handy for public transport and very central to all the city centre venues and activities. Courteous staff and good food in the restaurant. A pleasure to stay in. Great value for money. Well recommended.

Highly recommended!Stayed for 1 night to see Bruce Springsteen. Got a really good deal. Opt for an executive room and you get access to the executive lounge with free bar!! Need I say more! Also complimentary min bar and decanters in room which was very large and airy. Bathroom could do with a revamp but no complaints.Breakfast in Windows restaurant was very nice and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

We were changed to the Radisson Hotel! We received a telephone call on the Friday (due to stay Sat) to say due to maintenance issues we had been transferred to the Radisson Hotel, Argyll Street. There were no problems with the check in, apart from not enough detailed instructions to reach the NCP car park used for this hotel. The hotel and room (we were upgraded to a business class room) were lovely. We were room only and had no food in the hotel, but what we saw priced was very expensive.

Carlton GeorgeWe were recommended by friends to use this hotel which we found excellent value for money:-good location, good service but very disappointed with our evening meal in the hotel-the main course was terrible! We did not complain as we did not want a fuss but we remarked to the reception staff as we paid our bill. She wanted to get the duty manager to discuss this matter but we did not want to appear as though we were looking for a reduction on our bill. Will definitely stay there again in an executive room.
