Cassidy's Hotel is a family owned and run hotel. Due to the hotels-ns strategic location, we are a top choice for both business and leisure travellers to Dublin. Situated at the top of Os-nConnell Street, directly opposite the Gate Theatre. Cassidy's hotel is a secret haven in the heart of Dublin. Located directly opposite the famous Gate Theater the hotel combines an excellent location with pleasant and relaxing surroundings. Guests will find many fine shops, restaurants, theaters and museums nearby. Making the most of the elegant proportions and classic plasterwork, the whole building was painstakingly refurbished in 1999 to give modern comfort in the grandeur of another age. The mood is set at the burgundy Georgian front door that leads in to the elegant oak foyer. The lobby is small and traditional with a comfortable seating area adjacent to the long reception desk. Cassidyas offers conference facilities for the business traveler and is an excellent value that is quieter yet still a very central alternative to the Temple Bar area. Cassidy's Hotel provided a backdrop to the work of famous Irish writers such a O'Casey, Shaw and Joyce.

All right hotel in located in the city centre. Nice and clean, but the romm standard was not quite up to date. Very helpfull staff and and a good breakfast make this a good place to stay when in Dublin.

can walk anywhere from here in city centre - pretty old hotel, great especially if you want to stay away from standardized corporate hotels, comfy room, small but just fine, warm but nice open windows too if desired, subtle decor, great bed, food really good

We thought the hotel was clean,were given spacious room, and staff were friendly enough. We didnt eat there at all as we thought it was a bit pricey for breakfast. It has a nice, spacious bar near the lobby and drinks are not a bad price. The location was perfect though which is why we chose it.

Hotel is close enough to walk to most attractions, very close to bus tours headquarters. Staff was nice enough to let us check in early. Condition of room could use some improving, shower curtain was too short and resulted in water all over bathroom floor. In all room was more than adequate. Staff in bar and restaurant very friendly.

The Cassidys hotel is located in a Prime location at the top end of O'Connell street. The rooms are overall average and all have a kettle, trouser press and television. The bathroom is nice but the rooms themselves were like a sauna. Even with the window open and the radiator turned off the hat is the room was unbearable and it was impossible too sleep. The problem was the constantly hot exposed pipe running along the wall. There was no air conditioning so we had to suffer and sleeping was a problem . we know of at least 2 other sets of guests who were very unhappy with this aspect. The staff themselves were efficient and friendly.

The hotel was great. So close to everything and the bus from the airport dropped us off right in front of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice. We arrived there in the morning and checked in right away into our room due to a room all ready available. The location was perfect. close to everywhere i.e. the tourist office,shopping,sights. We truely enjoyed our stay at Cassidy's and the City of Dublin.

The hotel is centrally located and has excellent service & room quality.Breakfast is very good.We will return for sure.Hotel has also free internet use at reception & parking for residents.

easy to find. good bus connection to airport. (But please, clean the window, sorry.) This is a really good hotel in the center of Dublin

Although a nice hotel, maintenance left to be desire. Wooden fittngs and furnishing were chipped, bathroom tiles were damage and some of the electical wires looked quite dangerous as patch toghether. BReakfast was OK, very basic., no patries and the OJ was not fresh and the hot food quite blend and when we pay E15, you except a bite more. We had dinner, the BLT was awful, a piece of bacon with a slice of tomato. On a positive note, staff were friendly and the location is great. Overall a nice place, a bite more attention to details would make a hige difference.
