New City Apartments Barcelona The above booking refers to the apartment consisting of two bedrooms. The acknowledgement didnâ€™t indicate what the procedure was when arriving in Barcelona. The address we had received by the booking acknowledgement was incorrect and we had no direction as to who to contact in the event of any issues. In fact we were contacted by the Rent City local representative who was concerned as to why we hadnâ€™t contacted him. He arranged to meet us at an entirely different address which was a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed at 16 Paseo Gracia by the Rent City representative. We arrived late at night and without the booking acknowledgement that stated the accommodation type and therefore were not sufficiently prepared or inclined due to the late hour to challenge the representative from Rent City. We were also asked to pay 55 euros for cleaning the apartment and 30 euros for a late arrival fee none of which were mentioned in the booking process.
