No window and party split. Make sure you book rooms together and that you have a window.Booked one double and one single for mum dad & daughter, rooms 3 floors apart. Make sure you ask for rooms together when booking. Our room had no window and was below the main stairs on the ground floor, noisy kids running up and down with no carpet on stairs to deaden the noise. Cleaner outside of room rattling plastic bags throughout the night. Don't stay in room 801 on the ground floor it had no windows . No luggage holding facility, queued ages for check-in, check in system appeared very antiquated and each reservation took far too long. Saying all of this, the room was a good price and it was clean, fine for an overnighter, two nights max.

The hotel was located within easy access of the tube station, although the lobby was under renovations the staff were freindly, and helpful. The room was a very good size by English standards, clean and all amenities. The continental breakfast was was served in a bright dining room with the option of a full English breakfast at a nominal charge. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in London.

A value for money hotel. Breakfast is not so good. The new rooms (800 series) are excellent.

We ordered a double bed but ended up with twin beds. An error that they couldn't or wouldn't rectify. Shame.

The plus for this budget priced hotel was that the room was a reasonable size, having stayed in rooms of higher value but considerably smaller. However, we encountered the following problems: we had to ask for assistance to get the fridge working; the tv reception was atrocious, seemed little point in actually having a tv in the room at all; the window could only be opened about 1 inch, and considering the weather that weekend it was absolutely stifling in the room, air conditioning downstairs - would have been very much appreciated if this could have been installed upstairs; just 2 sachets of coffee - each day; towels too short - more like face-cloths; soap old and broken. Finally, for us smokers, we do appreciate and adhere to the no-smoking rules, but if you do smoke outside the hotel, take a ruler with you because you cannot smoke outside within 2 cms of the hotel!

A smart, clean, modern hotel well located for bus and tube services. Friendly and efficient staff. Well stocked bar with minimalist furnishings. Spacious breakfast room, largely self-service but good value for money. Small, comfortable bedroom with basic requirements.

Had I not got a bargain deal for my stay I would have asked to move from my room, which was barely large enough to swing a cat in and the walls thin enough to hear the lift and other guests' televisions through. Fortunately, I was only using the hotel as a base rather than somewhere to relax. The inclusive continental breakfast consisted of a choice of croissants or toast - a cooked breakfast was £5 extra; a bit cheeky. If you're wanting a cheap, no-frills place to sleep with plenty of carbohydrates to absorb the previous night's alcohol, then this is good enough. If you're planning on spending your waking hours in the hotel, then it's best avoided.

Paid for continental breakfast. Found tea machine not hot, cheap sliced bread and rolls offered and cornflakes rather stale. Generally unappetising. Feel ought to have offered fruit or yoqurt. Paid for english breakfast but had to send back and ask for a refund as cold. Found restaurant around the corner had better selection of food - you might like to take a leaf out of its book!!!Waitress etc spoke little english.....didn't even know word for salt!!!!!Being partially disabled found the room a long way from lift Had better stays in London

One girl on reception who could not identify us on system after 10 minute wait to get to desk in first instance.Summoned supervisor who took another 10 minutes to arrive and was then under preessure from owner/manager to deal with other customers.Waisted half an hour and late for appointment.Bad first impression.Room clean but basic with bathroom very small and badly designed.

Very inconvenient that they don't have a luggage room, wasted a lot of time on arrival. When checking out I was never asked in what currency I would like to pay so was charged in my local currency rather than sterling.Cleanliness and quality of room very good,.Excellent location.

Great to me!For the price it is an excellent hotel in London. Close to two subway stations, and the rooms are really spacious. One thing to keep in mind, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so if you suffer from the heat like my partner did you might be better off buying a fan. Other than that, very clean, organized, comfortable, and affordable!
