General Description

In the heart of metropolitan Tokyo, Akasaka area, the hotel is located on the lively Akasaka Street and just in front of TBS (one of Japan's major broadcast stations). Exit 7 of Akasaka subway station (Chiyoda Line) is across the street from the hotel. Otherwise, it takes 8 minutes to walk to Tameike-Sanno station on Ginza line which directly connects to main areas in Tokyo, such as Ginza, Asakusa or Shibuya. The hotel also has a self-service laundry room for long-stay travellers and an aesthetic salon providing aroma therapy treatments for relaxing during a busy stay in Tokyo. Akasaka is a business district with cosmopolitan atmosphere because of many international companies located. Around the hotel, there are lots of choices of restaurants that provide cuisine from all over the world. This is a good choice both for business and leisure travellers, particularly couples, who are looking for an affordable accommodation in exact centre of Tokyo. It is a modern, 8-storey brown building on Akasaka Street. All rooms have one double bed. They are small size but comfortable and stylish with contemporary interior design. They have facilities required by business travellers, such as a trouser press, a hair dryer, free high-speed Internet access, a refrigerator, English television station (BBC), and a small closet. The bathroom is small but in good condition. To be exceptional as a hotel in this category, all rooms have Simmons bed(s), globally known as a top bed producer promising peaceful sleep. Double bed is 140 cm wide in all rooms. It is small, but with a high ceiling and some seating. There is a restaurant opening morning through evening. As the name Organic House indicates, the restaurant makes dishes with carefully chosen organic foods (not all but as much as available). 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station (akasaka), 21 kms to the airport (haneda), 3 km to the nearest fair site (tokyo international forum), 3 km to the nearest station (tokyo), 72 kms to the airport (narita).

The hotel was clean and attractive, but the room was very small (even by Japanese standards). The location was excellent, right across the street from a subway station and only 15-20 minutes walk to Roppongi,

The hotel was very nice clean, and the staff were curteous and friendly. The location was near to the TBS building and Akasaka 'entertainment' district, which really didn't have any entertainment - some quiet restaurants and patchino halls. The room was nice and clean, albeit very small, and very comfortable.

The staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel it was very confortable and clean. There was conveniences stores and nice restaurants around the area and down the street there was a Mcdonald's, just like home. The rooms were small and we did have to change rooms because the room that was given to us first smelled like smoke. Overall we loved the hotel and definately would stay again.

With a family of four, we rented two standard rooms - small by American standards but very adequate for Japanese. Even with two rooms this was a great value. Very modern, clean and with excellent service. Located next to Chiyoda subway line and easy transfer to any spot in Tokyo. Nice Akasaka restaurants a few blocks away. Nearby 7-11 has international ATM for easy access to bank accounts. Organic House restaurant on 1st floor was a highlight - big breakfast buffet (all you can eat) for 1200 yen, both Japanese & Western, a great value, quality, and healthy. We loaded up in the morning before our outings and ate lightly rest of the day. Nice grocery store and bookstore nearby - refrigerator in room. Easy to get from Narita with Airport Bus to nearby Excel Tokyu Hotel, 3000 yen ea. / 1500 for child. Take a 810 yen taxi from there or walk (about 20 mins.) We felt we lucked out considering you never know what you get on an Online Travel Website, especially for 3-star places. If you take alot of luggage or are a big-sized Western couple, these rooms are probably going to be too small, book at the more traditional hotels that cater to those people. If you're single or an average sized couple, then you can't beat this place in Tokyo for the money.

The hotel was located in the Akasaka district of Tokyo. Although a little difficult to find by car, location was pretty good. In walking distance to several resturants and bars, shopping, train station and a couple of temples and shrines. Staff was very helpful. The room was small as compared to normal hotel room sizes here in the US, but worked out just fine. I'll stay here again the next time I go back to Japan.

Hotel has a great location - subway entrance is just on the opposite side of the road. We were pleased by price to standard value. Service was great and we really enjoyed our time in Tokyo. I hope you will enjoy your time also.

The room was very small, but well-appointed and well taken care of. We could have done without the trouser presser in our room, which would have given us more space. The location was excellent -- right across the street or 3 doors down from the Akasaka subway. The desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Several had a good command of English which helped us immensely. I would recommend this hotel to someone staying in Tokyo. Good value for the money, as Tokyo is very expensive!

Proximity to subway station is a plus. Akasaka Station Remember Exit 6 or 7. English spoken at front desk. Room is rather small. Breakfast is good value for money.
