Located in the heart of Miami Beach, Circa 39 Hotels tranquil location plays home to the unpretentious and experienced generation of international and domestic travelers. Circa 39 is just across the street from Miamis platinum-sand beaches where each and every guest has access to the hotels reserved beach area and lucent-blue waters. It is just twelve miles from the airport and a short taxi ride away from popular attractions including shopping, art galleries, cafs, the Miami Beach Convention Center, Ocean Drive and fashionable Lincoln Road. Hotel Fee: Room rates do not include a daily hotel fee of $ 7.95(including tax). This mandatory fee includes beach lounge chair and beach towel, wireless internet access in room and lobby (via your laptop computer, daily newspaper, concierge service, all local phone calls and use of gym. Self parking is availble for $22 per day. Pets allowed for a non-refundable fee of $75.00. Pet must weigh less than 20 lbs.

Close to the beach, clean. Room is cramped. It's clean and cozy. Close to south beaches but very noisy at night because of the traffic on the street.

It was clean and the staff was friendly. Our room key kept malfunctioning. We had to get a new key 2 times. This hotel was all around good. Easy access to area locations, friendly staff and strong coffee in the morning.

Good vibe, nice setting. Very friendly & helpful staff. A healthy walk to Ocean Drive/Lincoln Road. Not many restaurants around hotel. We really enjoyed this hotel. It has a nice vibe without being stuck up. It's a very healthy walk from Ocean Drive/Lincoln Road, so be prepared to drive or walk for 20-30 minutes. You'll want to do the 'spoil me' plan which features free drinks at happy hour. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Decor was nice, although bathroom could have been updated a little better - seems like it had a new coat of paint but that windows, sink and shower were older and didn't quite match up with the rest of the hotel. You'll love the Courtyard and cabanas, as well as cabanas by the pool.

Hotel commons area very inviting, near the beach, and access to local transportation. Hidden fees associated with continental breakfast. This hotel is great for the price and amenities given. Even though the cost of the continental breakfast was not disclosed, I would stay at this hotel again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and we loved it. Stylish, fun, very friendly staff, great location, nice continental breakfast, comfy beds, clean room, FAST internet access in the rooms. We wish we could have stayed here longer. We were very happy with this hotel and will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Miami.

The hotel room I had was small, but for the money I can't complain. My friend and I booked our trip at the same time and her room was a bit larger. But like I said for the money it was what I expected very quite and nice.

On April 6th 2009 i checked into a room with no running water, i wasnt told that there was a problem with the water. The bathroom window had a space in it that was being filled with paper towel. The carpet to the bathroom was torn and ragged. The elevator was painted red in the inside and there was a sign called the ugly red elevator. The photos on the net didnt resemble the lobby. The pool had beer cans and other garbage in the inside. Management not supportive, acted clueless even though they new when i checked in that there was no running water and when i said i was leaving said the other hotels would have the same problem. Not the case. Very poor customer service, as i was receiving my refund for my room they continued to check more people in. It would have been courteous to explain that there was an issue but that they were working on it, and would try to accomodate me. Instead i had to ask about alternate accomodations and was told to still wait until they figured something out, I traveled in the air for 6 hours. I do not recommend this place, very small room king size bed took up most of the room, no night stand stands instead an ottoman for the ice container, instead of art deco, more like low class, low budget, i have seen better looking motels than this. So sad great location, just needs a lot more updates renovation a must.

This isn't a 19 story luxury hotel - so if that's what you're looking for, this place probably isn't for you. I stayed one night on business and LOVED it. The bar is great, the lobby and rooms are decorated in a really funky art deco-style. If you're into unique boutique hotels, you've gotta try this place. I will definitely stay there again.

My brother and I did a last minute trip to MIA and stayed here. Overall the hotel was decent. The staff was nice and helpful. I liked the pool scene. The location is not as close to S Beach and the action as I would have liked, but we would take the bus/shuttle down or a taxi. One block from beach and that was cool. Convenient store next door that served sandwiches and almost anything else you would like and that was nice. I would stay here again.

a very seedy place. the rooms are poorly rehabbed and it's basically and old hotel haphazardly maintained. I asked the manager to take care of problems and she literally laughed at me. NEVER AGAIN! avoid circa 39.

Nothing. Everything. This hotel is located in the worst place I ever been, the parking is across the street, the carpet was so dirty, the electric cables all around the room, plus they charge me $10.00 for parking.

I liked the designer rooms. Clerk tried to add extra charges at time of check in, actually caught her in a lie. Be careful when checking in to this hotel, staff seems to be a little bit dishonest, she tried to take on extra charges for a breakfast that none of us planned on eating. Also they definitely need new beds I felt like I was sleeping in a u shaped mattress.

Ok let me start with what I liked. The staff was very friendly. Parking was $17 per day which is just the way it is Miami with no Valet service. I personally liked this because I was able to come and go as I pleased without having to wait for the valet. Ok now for the room which was absolutely the worst i've ever had. Mattress and Pillows were like rocks. Lamps were all rusted. How the hell does that even happen sprinklers? Someone took a bath with it? I was scared to plug in the iron by how bad the outlet looked. I thought it might electricute me. I think the thermostat was the only thing that didn't look beat up. Ok and the best for last. The carpet was torn where it met the tile for the bathroom exposing the tacks that held it in place. I had to place a towel over it so they wouldn't stab my feet.

The lobby was very nice and the staff was helpful. A bit older building , the carpet was old and smelly. We checked in and asked for a king size but was given 2 doubles with a promise of a king the next day. The staff delivered with their promise and moved us to a room with a king. The room did not resemble the picture, no hard wood floors in either room and were a bit cramped. Overall the staff was nice the rooms were ok, and the location was very good 1 block from the beach. Good sandwiches from the shop next door, the hotel across the street has a nice heated pool with a very good restaurant.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on Miami Beach one night before heading off for a cruise. The hotel was just across the street from the beach (no actual view)and a 10 minute drive from South Beach. The hotel was very cute, clean, and friendly; however, when booking the trip we were unaware that there would be additional fees upon arrival. $9.00 per person/per day. Add that to the $17 parking (we did know about that cost). The perks included Breakfast in the dining area and two free drinks at the bar. We would stay here again if the price (plus extras) is still competitive enough because all-in-all, we had a great time for the one day stay.
