Stayed in Skyline Tower for $/night, Tues-Frid, 9/1-9/4. Came from Los Angeles. Checked in at 1pm, piece of cake as I had paid online. Guest service was quick and courteous. Room was spacious and clean, like a Comfort Inn. Fine for $! We were able to park our car a few spots away from the tower elevator, very convenient. It is a long, hot walk to the action, so we would drive down to the Mirage or MGM free self-parking to go sight-seeing. Very easy with the car near the elevator. Just walking to the strip center wore out my 11 yr old, so this was perfect. Once we figured this out, we rarely walked through the Circus Circus casino/shops. The dinner buffet is awful, but cheap. 11 yr old loved the terrible food-- found donuts at dinner buffet. Opted for MGM buffet after that. Check-out line was long, but mostly due to customers having issues. Because we paid in advance online, we were done in seconds. Sadly, all employees--hotel and shops--- look miserable, but they do the job. Didn't see the circus acts but they are usually really good. Pool looked too sunny, like guaranteed sunburn.

You get what you pay for is so true with this hotel. It was my 1st trip to Vegas. I wasn't expecting any fancy resort, with a pool boy or a fancy drinks with tropical flowers, but what I did expect was clean rooms and privacy and no fear of bugs... We were "upgraded" when we checked in, to what I have no idea, coz I wasn't exactly sure what was so much better than what we were in. The room was clean, but...It smelled terribly of "POT." The room was so thick with the odor I developed terrible headaches and had to have house keeping bring me air deoderizer to spray on the furniture and curtains (which didn't work) The next room was filled with pot smokers and their smoke traveled into my room each night. Since I am allergic to pot, you can see just how miserable I was. I reported this activity to security, but nothing happened. I will say there was always Hot water, and the house keeping staff really tried to help me with my air quality problem. They didn't offer to switch me to another room, I asked, They said they could put me in the very back of the hotel but there may be an extra charge. Well, if that's their veersion of an upgrade, just let me keep my original room....

All in all I don't have anything bad to say about the circus circus, but you do get what you pay for. I didn't really have a bad experiance there but I can't say that there was anything really good about it either. Like I said the rooms are cheap, Don't get me wrong now checking in took a few minutes but staff was very helpful for the most part, This hotel has been around for a while, so keep in mind you might not find some of the things you grow fond of in other hotels. For instance, it was hard to find an empty plug in in my room, there were 4 outlets. I had to unplug the alarm clock to plug in my phone. The lamps in the rooms are like the ORIGINALS. LOL. The beds were ok. The room did have all the necessity's. Just your basic hotel room that definately needs some upgrades. As far as the rest of the hotel goes the adventure dome is the coolest thing followed by the midway games and clown shows. Honestly the most time I spent at the circus circus was sleeping. So the room itself did it's job. :)

We got there on a Sunday, waited in line for check in for about 30mins. Lady was real nice and gave us coupond books for the whole strip. The only thing that really sucked was that our hotel tower was all the way in the back of the casino. You had to walk thru the casino passed the amusment park, into anouther part of the casino then up to the 27th floor. Not very helpful when your tired and drunk, lol. Room was clean for the most part, nice marble shower and backsplash, besides the puke I notice on the walls on the last night the hotel was just a place to shower and sleep. Would stay there again if I had to.

What a deal! Room was nothing fancy, but comfortable, close to the pool. Upon check-in received a "funbook" full of discount coupons for cocktails, meals, and activities. Only regret was that we only had one night in Vegas and didn't have time to explore the entire hotel. Manor rooms are at the back of the hotel/casino complex, no view of the Vegas strip, but quiet, and an amazing bargain.

Myself & two other moms took our 9 year old sons to Circus Cirucs on Labor Day weekend and it was a total success. We stayed in the Tower (the West Tower I believe) and it was VERY clean and nice. Did NOT smell like smoke at all, which a lot of Vegas hotel rooms do. The front desk guy (cant remember his name) was AWESOME. Showed up pictures of the tower we were staying in & the brand new tower so we could see the difference. Everything in the new tower is brand new & has plasma flat screen tv's. The AdventureDome is awesome for kids and we even got a "buy one get one free" admission when we got there. Compliments of Travel online, which was a surprise, THANKS!!! It saved us $*. We ate at the buffett for breakfast one day & it was great. Only $* for one adult & one child. McDonalds inside the hotel is great for the kids. They also have a cafe which we at one morning & it was good. A lil pricey but not too bad. I cant recall the name of their dinner inside the hotel, but we ate there once as well & it was good. The only minor pain was the vendors that are inside the main hallway of the 1st floor of the hotel, trying to sell you stuff. But just keep walking and dont give them an minute of your time and you'll be fine. The pool area isn't very big, but it's so hot people are leaving all the time so you dont have to wait long for chairs. They also have nice big pool towels at the pool so dont bother bringing any from home or your hotel room.

Based on my previous experiences with Circus Circus, I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements in service. The check-in was extremely busy, which is not unusual for here, or any Vegas hotel. The process was extremely efficient organized and although there was a wait, it was tolerable because of the way it was handled. The room was larger and nicer than I had experienced in the past. We stayed in the west tower, which was very convenient to parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room safe was inoperable, but was fixed quickly and efficiently and the repairman even apologized in addition to the phone person. The value for the price paid was outstanding. Circus Circus used to be a cheap hotel in all respects. Now it is cheap only in price. The service level and accommodations were equal to that of higher priced Las Vegas hotels we have stayed in. I am glad we chose it for this trip.

Save yourself a lot of heartache and book anywhere but at Circus Circus. We booked our hotel room and ended up with a room in a building behind the main hotel. From this site, it was very inconvenient getting to the main hotel and other attractions. We were booked in a Manor room and it was old and smelled bad. If you don't have children, this also is not hotel for you. My advice is to spend the extra money and get a good hotel.

They charge for everything and ask if you want to upgrade to a room with free internet and cable tv as well as a flat screen. What we got was a room that cost an extra 11.99/day for internet and had an older 20 to 25 inch tv with only about 15 channels. Totally unsatisfactory. Additionally, the lamp between the beds didn't work and upon investigation I found the cord freyed badly and touching the bedding where it was plugged in -- a definite safety hazzard which would have remained unnoticed had I not said something. We will not return there. Overall, very, very disapointing.

I was trying to get a hotel on the strip because we were walking everywhere but the room they gave us was in the very back of the hotel which added another block onto our walking just to get to the street. It was also quite along way from even there own casino & restarants. What a pain just to get a cup of coffee in the morning. Room was ok & clean enough but you could feel the springs in the mattress & walls were very thin.

The rooms are very comfortable, the staff was poliete. The gambling was not that great. The lobby in the hotel needs to updated and the smoke is horrible. I am from California where you are no longer allowed to smoke any any public fasilites.

Circus Circus was an affordably great hotel. With clean, comfortable rooms, and great service; this was a vacation for the budget concious one couldn't complain about. This was my third stay at the hotel and I must say I would come again! My only complaint is the new heaters which don't allow the fan to stay on for better air circulation.
