The Clarendon Inn Bed and Breakfast is perfectly located in the heart of Historic Downtown Wilmington. Just step from the front door, guests will enjoy a day of sightseeing, shopping, live thearter, dinner at an extraordinary restaurant, the River Walk, and a choice of tours rich with Wilmington's colonial past. This unique property, originally built in 1950, housed a Catholic school for nearly 50 years. The Inn has just been completely transformed in to an elegant, full service hotel with 11 rooms adorned with a business center, meeting room, and a hospitality suite that may host wedding parties, meetings and other events. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning either in the guests' room, the lobby, or the patio. There is a large parking area at the Inn as well as 3 patio areas positioned around the property. We have a policy of not allowing children under 14 to stay at the Inn unless the guest has booked the entire Inn for a special event.

It was a delightful experience.....and Micha?l has the greatest tips to know where to go and what to do....just ask him about it..... The room was great, the cleaning ladies are WONDERFUL...All the people at the Clarendon make you feel part of them family....It makes it hard to leave......And in the kitchen with all this YUMMIE foods to choose from....hummmm....The security is great to....and a free parking with some FABULOUS porches....and don'T forget the games...chest, tic-tac-to,checkers.....but choose well you partner.....lol.... The Clarendon Inn is central located..where all the boutiques, activities and more are.....and PLEASEEE.....don'T forget them Ice Cream and fudge store on Market street........ Over all......IT's the place to stay.......

the hotel was great considering most rooms in that area are at least $150.00 per night more expensive. The room was small and a bit noisy - you could hear all the noise from the street. we were placed right next to the elevator, but it wasnt that bad as far as noise.

The location is great and they really do make sure their service is great. We were very impressed with the restaurant's food. The rooms were old and worn out but they were in the midst of remodeling so they should be great by our next visit. Definitely recommend.

This hotel was great for the price!! We had a great view from our room we were on the 8th floor and loved it!! Traffic a little noisy but as to be expected! Rooms were a little small but worth it! About 2 blocks from Rodeo!! Would definatly recommend this hotel to LA visitors! Very close to main attractions....Staff was very friendly as well recommend celebrity hotspots to us.
