The Clifton Lodge Hotel has been established for several years and offers a wide range of facilities to guarantee your comfort during your stay. last minute necessitymy sister did the booking, had to phone the hotel several times prior to booking and before arriving. service on both occassions was excellent, as was eveything on arrival. breakfast was to die for!

the gentleman at the reception did not appear to be pleased to see us. no conversation whatsoever no smile and given a form to fill up then given our key to no 10. after struggling through a narrow corridor and upstairs to our room with our suitcases opened the door and stepped back in time the double room with en suite requires upgrading. room facing a very busy road and the noise of the traffic was unbearable. unable to sleep much of the night. NOT A 3 STAR in our opinion.Definately will not be back.

Rooms at the front of the hotel suffer with the noise of the main road; could do with double glazing. However, overall a very enjoyable stay, nice staff, comfy bed and a nice breakfast.

Great, friendly place. Good car park. If they put an ciggy bin outside the entrance there would not be fag ends everywhere.
