Clean, nicely decorated rooms. Workout facilities limited. Decent hotel, nicely decorated, clean rooms and grounds. Walking distance too many shops, restaurants clubs etc. Lunch at attached restaurant was good. Workout area limited. Didn't try spa.

Rude employees, no restaurant or room service. Housekeeping was poor and very slow somedays not until 5pm This hotel closely resembled a well decorated Motel 6. On the surfaced things appeared fine, but the hospitality was Rude! The services such as housekeeping were slow and general;ly very late. There was no restaurant or room service. The Hotel put all its emphasis on appearance and none on service or amenities.

"My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in Oct. It was absolutely delightful. The front desk staff was very friendly (ask for passes to area nightclubs). The rooms were very retro, clean, and cozy. The hotel always smelled of lavender, which went along with its purple decor. I had the best raspberry mojito at the bar downstairs. This hotel is within walking distance of many clubs, shops, and restaurants. If you don't care to walk, the south beach local bus makes pick ups in front of the hotel every 15 min and the cost is only $0.25. "

Got a free upgrade to a spectacular room just because I had to wait in the lobby for maybe all of 5 minutes- what service. The valet service takes way too long! The hotel Clinton is the perfect hotel to stay at whether traveling for business or for pleasure to south beach. I would not recommend it for families, as it is a quiet little spa hotel, not really the environment for kid-fun. The location is great because it is a short, enjoyable walk to all the night life and beach. The only issue is the length of time to wait for your car. If you are traveling on business and have to be somewhere- you must call ahead for the valet a good 30 to 40 minutes in advanced to get your car- which is a little excessive. But, the hotel staff is wonderful and helpful and out of all of the hotels at south beach I have stayed at, this is by far my favorite in this price range.

This hotel is located on one of miami's busiest streets, and apparently located in the "red light district". The windows were not sound proofed at all, and traffic and other disturbing noises were heard all throughout the night. We did not get any sleep at this hotel. We complained to the staff and they simply did nothing. The Clinton hotel also charges a $7.00 fee to use their rediculously tiny pool. This hotel is more like a two star hotel, it had no amenities to offer for the price it is advertized for. The Clinton hotel looks nothing like the pictures used to describe it. Take your money somewhere else, this place was very disappointing.

The Clinton Hotel has a great location. It is located a few blocks away form Ocean Drive, 2 blocks form the beach, 5 blocks to the famous Miami Ink, and 10 blocks to Lincoln Road (where all the shopping is). The room is very small and has limited space for clothing items. The bathrooom looked nice but the shower drain was clogged during our entire stay so once you were clean, your feet and legs were soaking in your dirty water. The walls are paper thin. Be sure to use the ear plugs that are provided for you. The construction noise got old...on the first day we were there. The building next door to the hotel is under renovation adn we heard the jack hammer every morning at 6:45 a.m. Bring snacks with you or visit your local CVS/Walgreens once you arrive.

Staff was curt and lazy. The doorman stood still and played with his cell phone instead of opening the door. Beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable! The pool was TINY, and one night filled with loud obnoxious couples until ~3am, laughing and cackling, which echoed in the courtyard and then into the room. Don't upgrade to the balcony room... NOT worth it; you get a tiny deck-thing with a cheap chair on it. The concept of the hotel was good, but very poorly executed with cheap, bad finishes, right down to the paint. The cupboard in our room was broken and hanging open when we arrived. The a/c barely worked, and the room was always musty. The onsite restaurant was always empty; possibly a sign of how good the food/service was. The pictures and hotel website make it look impressive... don't be fooled.

Great location. It was dirty and the rooms were tiny. The only that was good about this hotel was the location and reasonable cost for South Beach. Would pay a little more next time to stay at a nicer location

"I booked two rooms using their own website and when I arrived, they only had one room reserved so our group of four was stuck in one room with two double beds. The guy at the front desk gave us a better rate, but it was extremely disappointing that they messed up the reservation. Then when we checked out, the discount wasn't applied and I had to explain the situation to a different person."

extremely modern, contemporary furnishings Location is on the fringe of southbeach neighborhood A great small hotel, extremely modern in decor and furnishing. NOT a family oriented spot. It is on the fringe of what I would call real southbeach and about two blocks down washington avenue from some less savory areas(drug dealing and violent street people!). Almost comically modern. Hallways are dark except for small spots over each door. staff tries hard to stay stereotypically continental...they're all far to cool to stay in this hotel, let alone work there.Beds are comfortable, rooms immaculate, towels resemble little strips of sandpaper. I wouldn't rate this four stars but more of a three-star theme hotel.

This hotel has very thin walls and it's difficult to sleep when the people in the next room are playing the radio and talking throughout the night. Also, we didn't get maid service until we tracked someone down and asked for it. The front desk staff was unapologetic and not the friendliest. It's also not very clean... there were stains on the walls and headboard. And if you end up in a room on the back side of the hotel overlooking the alley, expect to be woken up at 6am by the trash trucks.

This hotel is nice and the staff was friendly. Good location for walking to beach and entertainment in surrounding area. There's plenty of food options close by and shopping nearby as well. The biggest downfall are the thin walls and the pool is small as well. Overall I was pleased.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Clinton last week for five days, and we had the best time. The hotel is very chic and romantic. Our room was very, very clean. The bedding is all white and was nice and clean. The mattress was comfortable. The walls were clean. The bathroom was clean also. The only complaint was that I saw several tiny bugs flying around in the room. They looked like fruit flies. Otherwise, everything was great. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel is two blocks from the beach and near great restaurants and clubs. There is also lots of stores for shopping within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again and would glady recommend it to others.

My boyfriend and i decided to take a quick getaway to south beach. we chose hotel clinton because of location and price. when i checked in i didnt like that i was charged hidden fees and again when i checked out i spent about $25 in hotel, tax fees blah blah. the elevator is so small about 4 people to fit in and the permit was expired! the hallways were too dark for me. the room was not so bad considering how small the hotel is but the room was great. the walls are paper thin that you can hear people use the bathroom. the pool was a joke, we called it a "wet your feet" pool. next time i'll pay a little more to get something better. valet parking staff were really nice and helpful. i wouldnt recommend this hotel for families.

Planned this trip a couple months in advance, flew in on Friday night, rented a car and drove to the airport. First thing, its easy to get to this hotel. Even in traffic its only a 20 minute ride. Valet service is excellent, by the way. $27 a day but worth it if you plan on having a car. Just call down to the front desk whenever you want the car and in 10-20 minutes its there. Very convenient. We didn't know much about the Miami Beach area. It turns out that this hotel is pretty much ideally located. On Washington, its a 5 min walk to the beach, most mornings we were out the door and walking to the beach by 9:30. Shops are all around, and there's a little convenience store about 50 feet north of the hotel. We bought breakfast stuff (yogurt, fruit and such) there most mornings. Don't bother with the restaurants on Ocean, horribly overpriced and we found the staff to be on average dismissive and inattentive. Back to the hotel, we generally headed back to the room by 1 or 2. Room was always cool, a great hideout for the afternoon heat. Blue decor inside, at first was a little overdone, but by the end of the trip I was thankful for it. We found it calming, and very easy on the eyes after being in the sun all day. Anyway, as I said, location is the best aspect. We walked to Espanola Way and Lincoln Road most nights... its about a half hour walk to Lincoln, but that was perfect to walk off dinner. Other than that, the hotel staff were professional and helpful. We'd likely stay there again.

The New Clinton Hotel is in a great location to the excellent beach and restaurants of South Beach. Their staff is extremely helpful and the rooms are immaculate. Rooms are a chic design. Everything in our room was white and there was plenty of room for 2 in the standard queen room. There is a very large bathroom shower and plenty of towels! It is a great boutique-style hotel.

"After reading dozens on reviews on SOBE, we kept coming back to the Clinton. The lobby was filled with votives & fresh scent. The room was comfortable. The people were friendly. The kitties in the courtyard were cute. We will come back to the Clinton again. We had no complaints. Everything from beginning to end went smoothly."
