The hotel is located in the heart of the city, opposite the Parliament and near the Pantheon, Spanish Steps and Roman Forum. This is a superior first-class hotel. A Jacuzzi is available on the hotel roof. 0509 LB. This is an appealing hotel, set in a traditional, 6-storey building dating back to the 1500s. Rooms are large in size and are decorated to a high standard. They are furnished in a modern style, with red carpet and cream walls. The bedspreads and the curtains are coordinated with floral decorations. The hotel has a breakfast room and a good choice of other nearby restaurants. The lobby is large and spacious and furnished in a modern and pleasant style. The wooden reception desk is in front of the entrance, composed of two white columns and stairway. There are the sitting areas to both sides of the reception area. The entrance is composed of white columns that also surround the entire area. The sitting area is composed of white sofas and red chairs with small wooden coffee tables. There is a particular care for every detail. We stayed here twice, for three days each time. One time it was fine, the other time the room was horrible and we were unable to get reopairs made. Surrounded by construction so expect to awaken by 6:30 every day. No room safes, Not wheel char accesible due to roof breakfast.

The only advantage this hotel has for it is its position. it is in a pedistrian area so it is quiet. The rooms are small , dark and run down. walls have water leakege marks on them , bed covers are dirty and aircondition noisy. it should be rated 3 stars . its over rated and needs a lot of work to bring it up to 4 stars. its opposit the parliment house and there is always protests there. only its position is excellent.

In the 1980s this used to be one of the best hotels in Rome, with spacious rooms, cool marbles and spectacular service. When I went one was greeted by an awful sewage smell that no one seemed to care about. The rooms have been considerably reduced in size and the decor is ugly, and inappropriate for a city that gets very hot in summer. I can imagine the axfixiating atmosfere of so many carpets, lined walls and heavy curtains!

this hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel, stay here MAYBE for the location, but don't expect a 4 star facility. ceilings falling in, the layout is a maze, its really a mess!

This location is completely safe as it is right across the piazza from the parliment building. The windows open and you can enjoy the fresh breeze. The rooftop breakfast affords views extending to St. Peters in one direction and the Victor Emmanuel in the other. The breakfast was so hearty that it will hold you until a late lunch. The staff is very professional and helpful. You can literally walk to everything from this hotel - with the Partenon only a stone's throw away.

The staff at the hotel, in particular Pietro were exceptional. The roof top is the best feature of the hotel. We loved our time at the hotel.

We stayed here for two night with our three children. The staff was helpful and kind. The room was large and beautiful and the location was great. The roof top terrace has a beautiful view. Perhaps the other bad reviews were written while the hotel was undergoing renovation but it is now finished and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
