Quiet hotel at the far end of the historic Latin Quarter: a few steps away from the wonderful rue Mouffetard daily market and amazing food shops. Lots and lots of restaurants et cetera in the area. I was given a different room upon request when, just outside my window, scaffolding and workmen's tools indicated that I'd have a rude awakening in the very early morning. Good service. Incidentally, Restaurant 'La Forge', just two doors down from the hotel, is recommended too.

I have been most satisfied with this hotel. The room is nice and clean. Renovation is currently underway, but it did not bother me. Breakfast, however, is not included, and it is rather expensive - 14 Euros!

The Hotel Cardinal Rive Gauche Comfort in Paris location is, probably, the best value for such hotel. Also I shall say that it was very clean and bathroom amenities were brand new and shiny. We could walk in any direction from it and be able to find nice cafe or restaurant, grocery store, farmers market and, of course, famous tourist destinations, like Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens and more and more. The hotel staff was very helpful and nice and even upgraded our room to Superior, which, considering Paris hotel room sizes, was really bigger and more comfortable. The only hot stuff for breakfast were tea and coffee, but there were variety of cheeses, cereals and yogurts. The nearby street Rue Mouffetard is an excellent addition to the hotel location with lots of food places , grocery stores and farmer's market. Bus No.27 took us to the Louvre and Gallery D'Orcey. Its easy to navigate in Paris. We stayed there for five days and would recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

This is a nice hotel in a quiet street, very close to the Rue Moufetard quarter. Although not necessarily appealing from outside, the hotel is extremely pleasant inside and particular care has been given to the decoration. Rooms are small but comfortable and include all necessary items. The personnel is very friendly.One suggestion would be to make a computer available to costumers in the lobby area.
