the hotel is convenient as the location is good: the gare du nord and other major metro stations are close. the hotel in general is clean, but not internet access and the tv was out of order. the breakfast was very good although it cost 7 or 8? euros.

Location in terms of train station. No air conditioning, not clean enough, area not particularly nice and felt a little unsafe. In an overpriced city, this hotel is at least reasonably priced and near the Gare du Nord. That's a double-edged sword since, though convenient, this it not a very nice area, and it felt uncomfortable at times from the standpoint of safety (though there were no problems, and the front door is locked at night). But there were construction platforms right outside the windows and no air-conditioning, so I couldn't leave the window open and it was therefore hot.
